This easy chili can be made on the stove, slow cooker or Instant Pot. Leftovers taste even better the next day for lunch! More chili recipes you might enjoy are Jalapeno Popper Chicken Chili, Quick Beef Chili and No Bean Turkey and Sweet Potato Chili.

My friend Debbie shared this recipe, which I’ve tweaked through the years, and I remember asking her if she forgot to tell me about the tomatoes. Nope, no tomatoes in this chili, which I remember blew my mind. Nowadays it’s quite common to see a white chili recipe, so I’m sure you won’t be surprised. This makes a lot, you can make a batch for dinner and freeze the leftovers for another night. Toppings, are optional, you can top it with anything you like on your chili. Here’s a few suggestions:

Chili Toppings:

  • Crushed Chips
  • Sour Cream or Greek Yogurt
  • Cilantro or scallions
  • Chopped Scallions or Red Onions
  • Diced Avocado
  • Monterey Jack, Pepper Jack Cheese, or Cheddar Cheese

Notes:

  • I prefer the taste of 93% lean ground turkey, but you can further lighten this with 99% lean, which will lower the WW points.
  • To make this dairy free you can leave the sour cream out.
  • Swap the ground turkey for ground chicken if you prefer.
  • Yogurt will curdle if cooked, if you prefer yogurt just use it as a topping.

How To Freeze and Reheat Chili:

Let the chili cool then transfer to a freezer safe container. To reheat, transfer the the refrigerator the night before the thaw, then reheat on the stove or microwave.

This is one of our all time favorites! It tastes so good each and every time. It doesn’t matter the season even.
Thank you for all the delicious recipes.

  2. I made this today, and it was perfect. I used the half-recipe amounts, except that I added the full 4 oz of green chilis. Also, I used dried white beans and cooked them until soft in a full container of chicken broth along with the cooked garlic and onion and the seasonings before adding cooked turkey and a can of corn. Cooked in my InstaPot on the chili setting (25 Minutes). Stirred in the 1/4 cup of sour cream, bowled it up, and topped with shredded Pepper Jack and avocado. There was no need to adjust the flavor or the consistency; my husband and I BOTH thought it was wonderful. Half recipe was enough for two meals for us and more to freeze for another time. Will definitely keep this recipe and make it again!

  3. I loved this recipe and made it for a pot luck, but they cancelled the pot luck since a number of people were feeling sick. If I freeze this, how long can it be kept frozen without compromising the amazing taste? Thank you so much!

  4. This is a family favorite dinner!! I swapped out ground turkey for ground chicken but otherwise this recipe is perfect for fall/winter dinner!

  5. Love all of your recipes. I have two of your cookbooks. We enjoyed this chill, love the white beans. Thank you, keep creating more recipes.

  6. I accidently opened a can of cream of chicken soup & used. Made it creamy without milk or sour cream that I didn’t have on hand. Very 😋

  7. I tweaked this slightly by adding a can of pure pumpkin vs blending a can of beans…made for a creamy touch!

  8. Absolutely delish and I used ground Turkey! Husband definitely a fan and can’t wait to make it again. Full of flavour and love the heat kick in this! A keeper😁

  9. 5 stars in our house. Very good, flavorful and filling. The man says, “you can make this again, way good.”

  10. Family favorite. We love this recipe. Make it frequently. Can increase or decrease meat of beans and it’s still delicious!

  11. I’ve been making this recipe for a couple years now and it is a go-to all winter long. The whole family LOVES it!

    1. Family favorite. We love this recipe. Make it frequently. Can increase or decrease meat of beans and it’s still delicious!

  12. This was fantastic and even better the next day! I made it in the slow cooker on high for 4 hours and used pinto beans because that’s what I had. Topped with a little Tapatio hot sauce, shredded cheese and a few tortilla chips—perfect for a rainy afternoon 🤤

  13. I have made this last year and delicious. Today Iam making it in a crockpot and I used 2 cups of broth by accident…is that a big problem?

  14. I have made this last year and delicious. Today Iam making it in a crockpot and I used 2 cups of broth by accident…is that a big problem?

  15. Wanted to make chili for the first Bills Football Game and this did NOT disappoint I used ground chicken instead of turkey Flavor was awesome Everyone loved it 🥰

  16. I’ve made this many times. It is my favorite recipe for turkey chili! Is there a full day meal plan that includes this recipe?

  17. this was very good. i used spices as listed, 1 lb ground chicken, 2 cans beans & 14oz chicken broth(smashed about half can beans with some broth). wasn’t watery. i didn’t have jalapeño or cilantro but i know with cilantro it will be even tastier. very easy to make. will be going in my rotation!!

  18. I’ve made this twice using what I had in the freezer. I had ground chicken and pork sweet Italian sausage pack from Trader Joe’s. I also had a bag of butternut squash in the fridge and cooked that and pureed it along with the white beans. It is a delicious recipe, its a keeper for me! Thanks for all of your wonderful recipes I’ve never tried one I haven’t loved yet!

    1. I have frozen, cubed butternut squash I need to use up. Did you puree all of it or leave some chunks? thanks!

  19. Just a note that the recipe builder is showing 99% ground turkey, so it’s actually more pts if you use 93%. Great recipe!

I was surprised at how good this chili was. I almost always have to tweek recipes for my taste but this was absolutely delicious. Thank you!

  21. Super yummy! I ended up using 4 cups of broth and did not puree the beans due to time constraints. It wasn’t too brothy at all. I did bump up the seasonings a bit and doubled the green chilies.
This recipe will definitely be added to my rotation.

  22. Very delicious. I am always trying to add veggies ri our diet, so I added a couple of carrots, bell pepper (at the onion stage) and then at the end added shredded spinach. Bumped up seasoning to offset the added veggies & it was wonderful.

  23. Can this be made without adding the sour cream or Greek yogurt at the end? I am lactose intolerant.
    Thanks!

Love this! Though I did more spice and added 2 tablespoons of tomato paste to thicken more. I know, I know – it’s “White Chili” but it really turned out sooooo freakin good. Just enough tomato paste did the trick!

  25. I make this all the time! Even in the summer heat ~
I usually replace one can of beans with a jar of green salsa, leave the canned diced chilies out, and add corn!

  26. This was just delicious! I sub’d drained canned chicken for the turkey to reduce my pts further…it turned out perfect! Yum!
Thanks again for yet another fabulous recipe!!!

  27. Made the white bean chili with ground turkey. It was wonderful. Perfect meal for a cold windy night. Great flavor. Served it with corn bread.

  28. I meal prep for work lunches half a recipe because I live alone. I use ground chicken instead of turkey. One of my coworkers always ask for the recipe because the break room smells so good while reheating.

  29. I had to make half of the recipe because I didnt thaw enough turkey and cannelli beans were a hot commodity that week at the grocery store so I didnt have enough. I wish I had enough — so goood!! I LOVE added broken up tortilla chips for a crunchy texture, so good.

  30. What does the Points +:8 mean?

“Blue Smart Points:4 Green Smart Points:7 Purple Smart Points:4 Points +:8”

  31. I made this for meal prep lunches this week and I love the taste! I used 93/7 turkey as suggested, however cooking it rendered an absurd amount of fat which I ended up draining before adding any spices! Also i added about twice the amount of green chilis.

  32. Made this tonight. Cut the recipe like most did but kept the spices the same. Perfection! As if I ever needed to doubt a skinny taste recipe. Thanks again Gina

Loved this recipe with a few adjustments! I was looking for a “white” chili made with ground turkey instead of chicken and this hit the mark.  We’re a small household of 3,  so I reduced the recipe and used 1 can of beans (undrained), 1 can of chicken broth and 1 lb. of lean ground turkey. I did not reduce the spice measurements but followed the amounts in the recipe.  The 4.5 oz. can of chopped green chilies is pretty essential to the flavor of this chili, but I used a pinch of cayenne pepper to add some heat, instead of  red pepper flakes. We used the sour cream as a topping instead of adding it directly to the chili, along with chopped avocado. Delicious!

  34. My family usually loves recipes from Skinnytaste. For us, this one missed the mark. Like other comments suggested, I doubled the spices to enhance the flavor. I also decreased the ground turkey to two pounds. Even with these modifications, the chili still had an overwhelming taste of turkey. This may be personal preference but when I use turkey in a dish, I prefer to taste the yummy parts of the dish, not the turkey. If we make this again, I will likely substitute the turkey for chicken. Happy eating!

My boys love this. Husband, 19 & 17 year old. I made two nights in a row because they ate the entire pot and were sad they didn’t have left overs. I guess it’s a good thing I’m the only one counting smart points.

  36. Hi! I love this recipe and make a it a lot. It recently rejoined WW and am doing the Purple Plan. When I inputed the nutrition into the WW app to calculate the points, it came back with 8 points, not 4. Which points should I be following?

    Thanks!

    1. Hi Amy. The only accurate way to determine any recipe’s SmartPoints® value is to plug the ingredients into the recipe builder on the Weight Watchers website (Click on “My Foods,” select “Recipe,” and click “Create a recipe.”) which does not count fruits and vegetables in recipes in the calculations as they are now 0 points.

The SmartPoints® calculator isn’t meant for recipes and will often give you the wrong points (usually higher) because it’s counting the fruits and vegetables. So if you see a recipe with a SmartPoints® value that’s different from what the calculator tells you, now you know why.

Made this recipe for my family and it was a hit! I down-sided the batch by using 2lbs of ground turkey and 3 cans of beans and it made the perfect amount for 6 people. Will definitely make again many times 🙂

  38. Do you still have the old recipe for this? I think it’s nearly the same as far as spices but it is a family favorite and I’d love to save it the way it was.

    Thanks!

  39. We’ve tried SO many of Gina’s chili’s and did not care for this one. Husband wouldn’t even eat it. Seemed rather one note and the beans were most of what as we tasted with some heat in the background. Tasted more like something I’d spread on a taco than a chili. Sadly we won’t be making this again..but that doesn’t happen often with Skinnytaste!

  40. *chefs kiss* this is so delicious. smaller household, so I halved the recipe and honestly wish I didn’t because I would love to have a bucket of this leftover to eat for tomorrow! we cooked this in a dutch oven – couldn’t find canned green chillies so we went with canned jalapeños which I highly recommend if you’re a fan of spicy! the perfect amount of lingering heat with every bite. we topped our bowls with sour cream, cheddar cheese, sliced avocado and chopped scallions + cilantro and wow. crowd favorite for sure!

  41. Hi! I can’t wait to try this, but wanted to confirm if it is (1) 4.5 ounces of can diced green chillies or 14.5 ounce can of diced green chillies? TYIA!

i cut it in half   used crockpot. It was yummy with sour cream and chives. also avocado
I will def make again. Could use some chilies but i used red pepper flakes.

  43. Hi! I plan on making this tonight but was going to cut in half. Would you recommend then Puréeing one can and adding the 1 other can?

This chili is AMAZING! I don’t usually like chili that much but I went back for seconds. My husband also loved it, and even said “make sure you save this recipe!”. I didn’t have green Chile’s so I substituted with salsa verde and I think it still turned out great. Thank you for the share!

  46. Eating this for lunch right now and it’s so good! I forgot to add the sour cream and didn’t even notice. I just added a big dollop of Greek yogurt on top of my portion instead.

I couldn’t find canned chilies so I chopped up some pickled jalapeño. Also increase the spices (which I do with most recipes).

  47. I made this chili over the weekend and everyone loved it. I have a concern though, when I add the nutrition info into the WW app to create “food” It comes out to 8 points not 4.
    That’s a big difference!!

    1. Hi Cindy! Are you using the recipe builder? The only accurate way to determine any recipe’s SmartPoints® value is to plug the ingredients into the recipe builder on the Weight Watchers website (Click on “My Foods,” select “Recipe,” and click “Create a recipe.”) which does not count fruits and vegetables in recipes in the calculations as they are now 0 points.

  48. My new favorite turkey chili! I didn’t have red pepper flakes on hand but it was still amazing. Love the creaminess that the pureed beans add!

Hi I would like to make this for a household of 2 using one pound of grounded chicken. Do you still recommended using two cups of broth?

  49. I see that it has the directions for stove top, slow cooker, and instant pot, but can you tell me what method you think yields the best results?

  50. I am making this again today – we LOVE this recipe!  The blended beans & broth is genius to thicken the sauce.  I don’t add the sour cream at the end and double the chili powder – personal preference – and it is so delicious!   I don’t follow WW but we have all sorts of dietary restrictions in our house and really love Gina’s recipes on this site and in all of her beautiful cookbooks.  Easy to modify, healthy and always delicious.  Thanks Gina!!

  51. Tried this once before as written minus the chilis and it was great. Tried it again tonight with chicken thighs instead of ground turkey and it was spectacular!!! I like changing things up a bit to prevent the family from getting board. Just wanted to share this variation because I would’ve loved to have seen someone try it.

  52. I loved this recipe. The only change I made was to use 40 oz of beans instead of 60ish and instead of pureeing the beans, I added a can of pure pumpkin. Really delicious!

One of my favorite meal prep recipes for work lunches. Sometimes I add some fresh from my garden tomatoes. I too double the spices.

  54. I made this last night and it was delicious! I followed the stovetop instructions. Like others, I decided to go ahead and double all the spices—very glad I did, as I thought it was perfect. I accidentally dumped in more red pepper flakes than called for, so it had some heat! But I added in some diced avocado and a large dollop of plain greek yogurt and that was perfection. It did come out a tad thin for a chili, which may have thickened up overnight but I wanted to eat. it right away, so I added a small bit of cornstarch which worked great. Thanks!

  55. I made this recipe for my family’s get together for the holidays. It was awesome! I also added fresh chopped carrots and green pepper. I put it in the crock pot and to add thicken, I pureed two cans white beans (drained of most of its water pack) and only added 3 cans of whole beans. This bean puree thickened the chili without added much in calories (like sour cream would have). I also upped the chili powder to a tablespoon and that seemed to enhance the flavors as well. Instead of 1 bay leaf, I put in 4 and that made a difference, too. All around, people loved it. I did have some leftovers which I froze and they froze really well to eat in the future. So easy! So delicious!

  56. Probably the best non-tomato based chili I’ve ever had! I’m a sucker for spice so I TRIPLED the amount of diced chilies and added some diced pickled jalapenos. Amazing flavor, I could eat it every day!

  57. Just a heads up, I followed this recipe to a T and I ended up with 9 one cup servings making it 7 points for green. Perhaps the liquid reduced too much in mine? Either way, this is one of my all time favorite Skinnytaste recipes.

  58. Love this recipe, have made it several times.  Agree that adding more spices makes it even better, but I like a lot of spice.  The first couple times I made it I only used the amount stated in the recipe and I enjoyed it as well. Not sure why the point value for purple is 1, unless that is using ground turkey breast.  The 93% lean ground turkey is the same amount of points on the purple plan as it is on the blue.  But perhaps I am missing something?

HI! I am excited to try this recipe but I would like to use boneless, skinless chicken breasts. Do you think that would work? Thank you!

    1. Hi — I make it all the time with chicken breasts!  Pull the breasts out after 4 hours or so, shred them, take the bean mixture out to purée, then return the purée and chicken back to the pot.  Perfect!

  60. Absolutely LOVE this recipe! I just make 1/2 and eat it for lunch all week long. One question about the points – without putting in the sour cream, what would make it 8 points or does that lower it by a lot?

  61. Happy healthy new year.  Wasn’t sure if I would like this but wanted to try.  Just made a big pot to get me back on track after all this Christmas eating.  Doubled the spices like others said, very good.  Topped mine with avocado and cilantro!    Going to freeze half, though I really want to eat the whole pot!  Thanks GINA.

  62. This is the first Skinnytaste recipe I have attempted. It is amazing! I have been eating it every day since Sunday and I still have more left. I might freeze it. So good!!

  63. Wow, this is spectacular! Honestly, I don’t typically get too excited about chili’s, but this was a big hit. My husband said that it is his favorite so far. I love that it’s so low point, you can really indulge in the toppings that make the whole meal feel like a cheat. The only change that I made was to half it, but keep the seasonings the same. I did this because of the reviews below recommending that. I wish I would have done the full recipe, we would have loved extra leftovers!

I could eat this every single day. It just hits my happy place!  I did double the spices though as I found it a bit bland otherwise. It’s a crowd pleaser as well and not at all fussy to make.

  65. This is one of my faves!!! I actually use fat free sour cream and low fat turkey, and I honestly clearly didn’t see the whole part where you puree the beans (not sure how I missed that) and it still turned out DELICIOUS! It’s more like a thick soup…I’m guessing this would change the nutritional information for me, but I don’t care really! Lol

I just added some cheese and avocado and sour cream on top! I actually thought I had cumin but I didn’t, and I threw in some extra chilis and it was still super flavourful!

I generally assume recipes are meant to be modified in one way or another, but this is such a great base to work with!!!

  66. If I’m running short on time, could I cook this in the slow cooker for 4 hours on high instead of 8 hours on low?

  67. Hi Gina…I am counting this as zero points on the app. Can you kindly share where the 4 points are coming from? Thank you!

  68. Ok, this is nutballs. I made this (again) last night. 4 people living in this house. I’ve been asked to double this recipe next time I make it. There was barely enough for lunch today, and there were sad faces all around. “I would eat this all week if I could”, was one response.
I followed the directions as stated, except I used one can of pinto beans (I only had 2 cans of cannellini) and one can of refried beans instead of pureeing a can. Nobody noticed. This recipe def is on my crowd-pleaser list (See” the lazy genius”)

I am making this tonight I am not sure about the white beans though as sometimes they upset my stomach I’m going to try and rinse them really well before adding them to the pressure cooker

  69. Do you have your original recipe for this still you can share with me?  I bookmarked it years ago and we enjoy it often, but when I went to make it this time, you revamped it. And don’t get me wrong, it still looks delicious, but the original recipe was tried and true in my home. Thank you so much.

First made this recipe for my family and my husband liked it! Then made it for a girl’s getaway weekend. Only change I made was to add one small can tomatoes with hot peppers. Everyone asked for the recipe. It is SO easy and SO delicious! One more SkinnyTaste recipe that is a keeper!

I made this last night for dinner and what a hit it was we served it with a loaded corn bread. super easy and wil add it on a regular rotation for our meals ty

  72. I love the concept of this recipe, however it was super bland. I would make it again but would need to add some additional spices to give it more flavor. The consistency was great though, just needs more flavor.

  73. Any suggestions for a substitution for the canned diced chilis? Would fresh green chilis work instead?

  74. This is really good. I used finely cubed firm tofu because I didn’t have ground poultry and it was still awesome. Added a drizzle of olive oil to make up for the missing poultry fat. I added fresh chopped cilantro, sliced jalapenos and a bit of sharp pepper jack cheese to each bowl and it was gone so fast! Thanks for another great recipe!

  75. A-MAZING❣️❣️Didn’t have sour cream and its still very tasty!! Will make again and again and again! Gina you are a foodstar

  76. Delicious!  Red sauce disagrees with me so I eat it less frequently.  Chili was a staple!  This is a tasty chili alternative which freezes well and is just as good.  I actually prefer it.

    1. She says to add yogurt on top of your serving. If you try to mix it into the stockpot it will curdle.

  77. This recipe was fabulous. Since there is only two of us, I divided the recipe in half. I had to double the broth, because it seemed a little thick. I wanted to make sure that my pressure cooker gained enough pressure. Sometimes if there isn’t enough liquid then it won’t pressurize. I also doubled the cumin in the recipe, and didn’t add the sour cream in since O froze half of the chili. My husband is not big on “diet” food, and absolutely loved this!

  78. I really liked the old recipe and wish it were still available! I think the seasoning is the same so I am going to try this without the green chilies or pureeing anything. If you still have the old one available, please share!

  79. I followed the modified recipe with reduced broth using the slow cooker. There was not enough liquid. It was super dry. I had to add broth which then fixed it. Otherwise was great. Not sure why I’m getting different results but I think the original recipe is what worked best for me.

  80. This recipe is ABSOLUTELY delicious!!! I made mine with some turkey sausages instead of lean ground turkey, adds even more flavors. I just adjusted the points. Even the boyfriend fell in love with this recipe. He said “I don’t know what’s in here exactly but I want you to make this again and again and again.” BIG HIT!

This recipe was so easy and flavorful! I’m sure that this will make it into part of my regular recipe rotation 🙂

  82. This is crazy delicious and easy. My boyfriend raved about it – pretty much confirming it was the best chili he’s ever had. Thanks Gina!

  83. This was absolutely fantastic. My husband and I were looking for a healthy and hardy soup for dinner that could be made in the crockpot. This one did not disappoint. We garnished with fresh cilantro, jalapeños, avocados, and green onions. There was no missing the cheese. The fresh garnishes topped it out perfectly. We will be making this again.

  84. I made this last night and both of my husband like some heat so I added in Pepper Plant when the chili powder and crushed red pepper flakes weren’t giving it enough flavor. I didn’t reduce the broth so it was a little soupy, but we had it with some potato bread and it was delicious. Today for lunch it’s even better!

  85. Made this today (up to adding the sour cream) to serve tomorrow. I used one pound of 99% lean turkey and two pounds 93% turkey, which reduces the smart points to 3 per cup. I added chipotle chili powder, smoked paprika and more cumin as I like some heat. It’s spring and warming up in California so not that many more opportunities for hearty soups for dinner. This is a great combination of ingredients. I would make this again. Thanks Gina, for another winner.

  86. Made this crockpot style.  Instead of the canned beans I used dried white beans that had been precooked in an electric pressure cooker.  Did not use the sour cream but topped will top with a dollop of non-fat Greek yogurt when serving.  Using the dried beans does require additional chicken stock.

How much of the dried beans did you use? I have a 2 lb bag of beans but I feel like that’s too much.

  87. This is a favorite of ours but we have recently started eating plant based foods and wondering if we left the turkey out, would the liquids need to be adjusted in any way?

Absolutely delicious!!! I’m allergic to red meat and dairy (alpha-gal disease- don’t get bitten by a tick if you live in NC or VA) so I left out the sour cream and it was fantastic! I made it last night and ate leftovers for lunch. YUM!!!
Thank you Gina, for making so many recipes that I can eat or adapt. You have made such a difference in my bland life since I developed this horrible allergy! My husband asks if it’s Gina’s recipe anytime I make something good for dinner :)))

  89. Awesome recipe! Both myself and my fiancé thought it was fantastic. I used cannellini beans but I might try navy or pinto next time. The only thing I would change is to make more because it was eaten so quickly!

  90. Gina first of all THANK YOU….thank you for your site thank you for your recipes! I print them out every Sunday go grocery shipping and cook my heart out all week long! I sing your praises at my WW meetings every Wednesday & share recipes with the group that I’ve made and loved! YOU ARE AMAZING!

I made this recipe overnight in my crock pot…..unfortunately before you revised it. So it is a ton of liquid and it seems greasy. Should I have drained the turkey onion garlic skillet before adding to CP? Just so I know for next time. I will transfer them into containers and eat later because I know the flavors will be outrageously delicious!

    AGAIN thank you Gina

    1. So glad you liked it, you can always simmer it on the stove uncovered to thicken. You can drain if you wish!

  91. I made this tonight and it got 5 stars from everyone in our house. I don’t think I’ve ever made a chili without tomatoes before, but I love how you can really taste the cumin and other seasonings. We topped it with fresh cilantro. This is going to join our other favorite chili, your BBQ Chicken Chili, in the dinner rotation. Delicious!

  92. I made this last night in the IP. It was soupy when it was finished, and I let it cool, in the pot on the counter. Then I gave it a good stir. I was fine with it being a little liquidy because of all the starch. After refrigeration, it seems to have set up a lot. A nice way to change up chili and it’s good!

  93. I input the nutrition value for a 1 cup serving into the WW app and it calculated to 8 SmartPoints, not 4.  What am I missing?  Very yummy, just want to ensure I’m calculating this accurately for points value.

  94. Thank you Gina ! I cannot believe how well this turned out. The only two things I modified in this recipe are – quantity and addition of fennel seeds. I am a bad cook and don’t like 95% of the things that I make (even if I follow a recipe 😀 ). But these ingredient proportions/combination were perfect. I meal prepped this turkey chili; made 5 boxes for the week. Each one tasted better than the previous one, because the flavors were able to blend together more I guess. This is going to be a regular for me. So happy !

  95. I tried cooking this in the instant pot, but when I opened it up it was very soupy and the sour cream had curdled. Any ideas on what went wrong? I did a quick release. That’s the only thing I could think of.

  96. Made this last night and it is fantastic! Even better leftover. My new favorite white chili recipe! Will definitely make this again.

  97. I made this recipe tonight and it turned out so bad! It was very liquidy. I’m wondering if I should have drained the turkey after cooking ? I followed the instructions to a t and it’s so watery 🙁 . I’m just wondering where I went wrong. The other reviews say it turned out great so I know it’s me and not the recipe.

    1. Made it tonight and mine is also very liquidy. I noticed Gina reduced the amount of broth to two cups which is all I added. Am also wondering if I should’ve drained the liquid after browning. That wasn’t in the recipe though, and I followed it exactly. 🙁

  98. This tasted great! However, I always have a hard time reducing anything – all my recipes come out too soupy (including this one). I didn’t have a dutch oven, but I had a pot similar. Is that my problem?

Regardless, i’ll definitely make this again!

  99. Am I supposed to drain the turkey after I cook it? It looks like a lot of data keeps settling at the top??

  100. Just made this soup. Mine didn’t come out as thick as the picture. Any suggestions to thicken it up? I followed the recipe but used Greek yougurt instead of sour cream

  101. This sounds so good!  I love alll the recipes I’ve ever tried on this site. I can’t wait to try this. I have every ingredient on hand except sour cream.  Could I use Greek yogurt instead of sour cream?

  102. This recipe looks delicious. Would you be able to clarify the crockpot instructions, I am a bit confused. It says to follow steps 1-3, and then reduce broth. If if we do not do step 4, then we are missing many ingredients. What am I missing? Thanks so much!!

    1. I was a little confused as well, but I would say that you dump all the ingredients from step 4 straight into the crockpot. You could still do step 5 (puree 1 can beans w/ 1 cup broth). Add remaining 2 cups broth to crockpot and cook on low for 8 hours. At least that is what I’m going to try!

    2. I believe you follow the directions for steps 1-3. Then, put cooked turkey, onions, garlic and the remaining ingredients in the crockpot.

  103. Love this recipe, but mine came out much thinner and “soupier” than the photos. The only adjustments I made were doing 7oz green chilies (i love the spice) and adding more sour cream (I figured that would make it thicker). I also forgot to stir a bit during the simmer period. Would it really make that big of a difference?

Gina, your slow-cooker instructions say to follow steps 1-3. So you don’t do the rest of it? What about blending the beans? The chili’s etc.?

I didn’t have enough white beans so I added in a can of garbanzo beans….turned out great! I love this recipe…can’t wait to make it again!

  106. For the Instant Pot version, do we follow steps 1-3 on Saute function then proceed with 4 and 5 and cook on high pressure for 25 minutes?

  107. Are green chilies spicy hot? I have never purchased canned green chili  and although I make chili all the time, I just use the powder.
Scaredy-cat  Canadian here doesn’t like real heat 🙂

      1. I was curious about this also. I will have to put them on my list for groceries. This time I used chipotles in Adobe sauce. I’m stoked to try it. My 4yo loves beans so I love finding new ways to serve them.

  108. Hi! I LOVE your recipes & I’m currently doing WW & have smart points. At the end of your recipes I see that you include freestyle points but what is the number to the right? It says “points +”

  109. Made this today with a couple of minor adjustments. No chili powder so used chipotle chili powder, and Italian seasoning instead of oregano (out of that too). Looked too thick, so used a full qt of low sodium chicken broth and full fat sour cream (again, no fat free at the store). It was a little on the spicy side, probably because of the chipotle powder, but other than that it was spectacular. I will sub out the sour cream for low fat or fat free if I can find it, but like the additional broth to thin it out. And maybe a little less chili for us (or regular chili powder). Great recipe!

  110. I came across this recipe by accident. I was looking for a different chili recipe when this one popped up. I had 3 lbs of turkey in the fridge needing to be cooked. I decided to try it instead of making a small batch of chili and my meatballs for dinner later this week. I had all the ingredients on hand. I followed the recipe as directed.…no substitutions. OMG the BEST chili I ever had.  My husband even ate two bowls!! He’s never eaten chili (He grew up in Ireland) until I made a pot last month. He liked this one the best. Can’t wait to have lunch tomorrow. I’m having chili LOL. ????????

  111. I made this last night with my leftover Thanksgiving turkey. It was great. What a great way to use up all that leftover turkey. I only used 1 can of beans and I decreased the amount of red pepper flakes. I ended up adding more broth and sour cream just before serving because it was thicker than I like. I will make this again. It was so filling.

      1. For IP recipe. Do I need to brown the ground turkey or can I add everything as is and set for 25 mins? Also natural release or quick release?

      2. Yes, brown the turkey first. Use 3 cups broth. Cook on high pressure 25 minutes. Natural release.

      3. Stupid question, but do the beans have to be cooked first?? I’ve never made chili before so I’m learning lol thanks!!

  112. I made this today.  Consistency was perfect, but I needed more flavor.  I ended up adding literally 4 times more of every spice except for the red pepper flakes, instead I used about a teaspoon and a half of Mexican hot chili powder.  I’m so glad I found this because I always had a hard time figuring out a good consistency for my white chili.  The texture of this one is perfect!!

  113. I’ve made this recipe before several times and it’s absolutely delicious!!! I try not to eat dairy as it upsets my stomach, so I’m just wondering if there is a non-dairy alternative to the sour cream? Either way, I will continue to make it. Thanks for the great recipe!

  114. I just made this yesterday (8/28/2018). Made individual containers and stuck them in the freezer. Had it for lunch today and it’s sooo good!!! Gina, I had to buy more containers! Your recipes are so good and I love that they are big portions, but I need more freezer containers! LOL

  115. This was wonderful! I made 1/2 the recipe, added green chilies and about a 1/4 tsp of cinnamon. Flavor just popped.

    Thanks Gina!

  116. With such simple ingredients and no tomato base I was worried how this was turn out. Wellll.. wow! Amazing! I cut the beans in half because that’s all I had. Added a 1/2 can of corn drained and rinsed and used Plain Greek yogurt instead of sour cream and it was amazing. My kids even loved it. Thank you!

  117. This is the BEST white bean chili I have had. Delicious, simple and easy to make. Will definitely be making this one over and over again. 😀

  118. Just made this for the first time for just 2 people .  Had one pound of turkey, a can and a half of beans, and cut down the spices . Smells great and from the taste I had as I was cooking this is going to be a winner! I’m not a fan of white chicken chili or white bean chili but this may be the best ever ! Any idea what the freestyle points are if  I used 93% lean ground turkey instead of 99%?

  119. I made this tonight – but with a few modifications. First off – I cooked an actual turkey on Sunday so I used chopped up turkey breast rather than ground turkey. I also used a can of pinto beans, a can of white beans, and a can of diced tomatoes with jalapeno (I cut the recipe in half because there are only 2 of us in the house). I used all of the spices called for and added the turkey in after I’d sauteed the onions and added in the tomatoes and beans. It was magically delicious. Thank you Gina for giving me a basic recipe that I could tweak and make my own! We topped ours with a little reduced fat cheddar and some chopped green onions.

    1. This might be a dumb question, but do you need to change the cooking time at all if you cut this in half? Thanks!

  120. The directions for crockpot are not attached here they need to attach it to the recipe.
    Roberta

    1. Although I should add that I do throw in a can of diced tomatoes with chilies. Gives it some color too.

I made this again tonight, the first time i followed the recipe to a T, and it was very good. tonight i omitted the sour cream during the cooking process and added a diced tomato, and just added the sour cream on top of my bowl when i dished it up. Either way this is excellent, it’s gone in a matter of minutes in my house.

  122. Had the in laws over tonight and made this. It was delicious. Everyone loved it and took a doggie bag home with some leftovers. I used chicken breast instead of ground turkey. I added a can of green chilis although it tasted fine without it. This will now be my go to recipe for white chili.

  123. I made this today. It was very good. I only yielded 10 cups so my points increased to 7 pts per cup. Next time I make I will use less beans and perhaps  add some green chilies and tomato.

  124. YUM! My family was so bored with traditional chili, and this was a welcome change. The amount of red pepper flakes was a bit too much for my children, so next time I'll scale down to 1 teaspoon. I also used a variety of beans (kidney, black, butter) because I did not have cannellini. It was fabulous!

  125. This is a great recipe that I've made twice in the past 6 weeks. Definitely one to drag out from the archives!

  126. Another endorsement for this terrific recipe! One note from my experience: at first, it may seem like this needs more liquid; I went ahead and added an extra half-cup of broth, but it really wasn't necessary, and meant I had to cook longer at the end to reduce the sauce to the right consistency (I had already expected to have a longer cooking time, however, as I also added a can of diced tomatoes). Delicious!

    1. I just made this in the crock pot. I would recommend browning the turkey and just putting it in the crock pot with the rest of the ingredients (minus the sour cream – Put that in at the end of the cooking process). I actually substituted the turkey for chicken breast, cooked on high for 3 hours., and shredded the chicken with two forks. Not sure if that helps!

  127. I didn't have enough white beans so I added in a can of garbanzo beans….turned out great! I love this recipe…can't wait to make it again!

  128. Delicious – as all the recipes I've ever tried from your website usually are. Definitely one of my favorites and I am looking forward to making it again in the future 🙂

Delicious! Cooked this up for my hubby and son last night. They devoured it quickly and raved about how much better this was than our hamburger/red bean chili. The only ingredient I use differently was vegetable broth instead of the low fat chicken broth. We find it adds more flavor to our recipes. So simple to make, but sad there were no left overs! lol Will have to make a larger batch next time! Thank you for sharing.

I love this recipe! I added rotel for a little break from the beans! It's better the next day. Would also suggest marinating your turkey so it is not so dry.

  131. I have this on the stove now and based on my tastings thus far, this is the best white bean chili I've ever had! My husband is a picky eater and will not eat anything that's bland and he agrees that it's delicious from one spoon over the stove. I only had 1 pack of ground turkey and 1 can of cannelloni beans so I had to adjust the seasonings a bit but we both can't wait to have a nice big bowl of this once it's finished. Thanks for all the amazing recipes as usual Gina!

  132. Does anyone know if this recipe calls for FF half and half, or sour cream? It says to add sour cream, but it looks like, from the comments, that people were adding half and half.
Thanks so much for the help!

    1. I’m going to try with Greek Yogurt since I use that more than sour cream now.  hopefully it’s good 🙂

  133. I made this recipe tonight and thought that it was terrific. After reading the reviews I worried that it would be too thick for me (I really like eating soup and chili with oyster crackers so I don't like it to be super thick, so I added 1 more cup of chicken stock. I used 2 cans of garbanzos and 1 can cannellini beans, and replaced the last can of beans with a ton of fresh cooked sweet corn. I also upped all of the spices except for the crushed red pepper. I also did not use ground turkey, I had grilled a whole turkey yesterday so I had a ton of leftovers. I just diced the meat up & threw it in at the end to warm through. Very good, very filling, and healthy!

I love this recipe so much! Sometimes I play around with the beans and often replace a can of cannellini beans for kidney beans – obviously it isn't a white bean chili anymore, but I like the color it adds! Best part – heaps of leftovers!

  135. I made this the other night & it turned out great. You just have to adjust the seasoning to your taste like she suggested. I added more cumin & basil. I will def make it again.

  136. Hmm I think this recipe may need to be looked at again. I made it exactly as written and it was extremely thick and didn't have much taste. I added more chili powder, but then you could really only taste the heat. I'm currently trying to salvage it by adding in a few chipotle peppers in adobo, more broth, and a can of diced tomatoes. We'll see if that helps it.

  137. I just made this and it's simmering now. Based on preliminary tastes I'm giving it two thumbs up! A trick I learned from a white bean recipe from years ago…as it's cooking smash some of the beans with a wooden spoon against the side of the pot. Makes it a little creamier. Been following WW since Sept and love your site!

  138. I thought it was good, a bit bland so I added a little can of green chillies. I also substituted the sour cream for a can of garbanzo beans which I pureed for some thickness (lack of sour cream could make the whole thing more bland). I will make again though.

  139. Love skinnytaste and have made a lot of Gina's recipes. I made this last night and it was very dissappointing. I found it bland and will not make it again.

  140. I made this in the crock pot today and it was fantastic! I sauteed the onion and garlic and browned the meat then added the seasonings last night. I then chilled it. This morning I put it in the crock pot with the beans, bay leaf and broth and set it on low all day. I did have to add liquid to it as it cooks down a lot in the crock pot, I probably added about another cup of broth. I used two cans of white kidney beans, a can of garbanzo beans, and a can of navy beans. I a small amount of sour cream to each of our bowls and both my husband and I agreed that it wasn't essential and we could save a few calories without it. Thank you so much for posting such a great recipe! I can't wait to try another one!

  141. I made this on Sunday to have for dinner all week. It is seriously my new favorite dish ever. You have such amazing recipes! THANK YOU. 🙂

  142. I found your website on a blog from a weight watcher leader. I have made meals from your sight ever since. The spinach chicken was so easy and good. I also made the balsamic flank steak with tomatoes and it was a hit. Tonight I made the white bean chili so it is ready for tomorrow and it is awesome! I think this is the best place for healthy and weight watcher meals. I have lost 65 pounds and this will get me to my goal. Thank you from the bottom of my healthy heart! Sue

  143. Love this recipe. Complex flavors, easy preparation and super stress-free clean up! I changed up the recipe a bit because cannellini beans were not available already prepared. I used 2 cans of regular kidney beans and 2 cans of great northern beans and it turned out perfect.

  144. Hi Gina! I am going to try this recipe next weekend and was wondering something. In your crock pot recipe, you use pumpkin puree. I do not have a crock pot, so is it possible to add the puree to this recipe? Would that work? Thoughts…? Thanks!

    Hi Gina,
I made this chili last night for a family gathering.
It was such a success, that my in-laws asked me if they could take the leftovers home with them!
Thank you for another delicious recipe!

  146. Hi Gina,
Last night I made your stuffed peppers with turkey, awesome! Everyone loved it. Now I am going to try this chili for a contest this weekend. Wish me luck!
    Thanks for the great recipes.

  147. Started out really thick, but after letting it cook in the slow cooker I guess it really brought out the juices and flavors together, hence the happy ending 🙂 Not sure if I missed it while reading the recipe, what to do with the bay leaf. This was my first time using one, but just dropped it along with everything else in the crockpot anyway. Thanks for keeping up this site, truly helped my husband and I manage our weight.

  148. Hi Gina
Love your site and recipes! My husband bought garbanzo beans by mistake…do you think those will still work?
    Thanks!
    Leah in St. Paul

  149. Very bland, i followed the recipe to a T and even let it sit in the crockpot over night hoping the flavors would come out. No such luck :-/ Dousing it with sour cream, cheese and chips seems like the only way to save all this turkey! No to mention, you never said when or how long to pu they bay leaf in for.

    1. this recipe is FAR from bland. It actually has tons of delicious flavor. Perhaps you measured something incorrectly. Also, while cooking, I'd suggest tasting it and seasoning accordingly. Sometimes, one person's idea of bland is different from the next. (And the recipe clearly says at the end to "adjust seasoning and salt to taste" once it is done cooking). So if you didn't do that, that's your mistake, not Gina's.

    2. I agree with Anonymous. This chili is by no means bland. It's delicious! Maybe you need to adjust your seasonings.

  150. This is great. I substituted Coconut Creamer for the sour cream to make it dairy free. Couldn't tell the difference. Doesn't have a coconut flavor. Thanks for the great recipes!

Something didn't turn out right for me 🙁 I cut the recipe in half and used the two cans of beans and 1/2 can of broth and it was like I hadn't added any liquid. I ended up adding another 1 1/2 cans of broth and it is still pretty thick….now I am wondering if the seasonings need to be adjusted? This is the first recipe of yours that didn't turn out for me and I make at least one a week off of your site and have for the last 6 months or so..

    1. I experienced the exact same thing. I cut the recipe in half, so only used 1 pkg of meat, 2 cans of beans and 1 cup of chicken broth. Before even cooking it all together, there was absolutely NO liquid in the pot, so I added the rest of the 1 can of broth. After it was cooking for awhile, all of the liquid was completely soaked up again, and I ended up adding a whole second can of chicken broth. In the end, it was still delicious, but still VERY VERY thick. Maybe something doesn't come out right if you cut the recipe in half (even though it should). But next time, I will make the whole recipe because it was THAT good and I'll just freeze the leftovers.
(and FYI, the halved recipe only gives about five 1 cup servings and that is INCLUDING the whole extra can of broth that I used. So I'm guessing the full recipe would yield about ten 1 cup servings, and if the same holds true, would require about 4 cans of chicken broth for the correct consistency).

I was also curious about the FF half & half that was mentioned numerous times in previous comments. This recipe calls for sour cream, unless I'm missing something, or the original recipe was revised since then?

  152. Your recipe says sour cream but after reading the comments it sounds like people are using half and half. Have you revised the recipe? I hope I can mix sour cream in it because that's what I bought. Thanks!

  153. I've been making this recipe (only with ground chicken) for about 2 years now and it is the most delish white chili I've ever had! My family LOVES it! Everyone who has it asks for the recipe! Thanks for a delish recipe!!!

    Melisa S.

  154. Hi Gina,

Love your site! How long do you keep the soup in the crock pot? And do you cook it on high or low?

  155. I made this about 2 weeks ago and we really enjoyed it, even in the dead of summer! It made just enough per serving to fill us up. Garnished with the lowfat sour cream and cheddar, a few sprigs of cilantro… yum!

I have frozen this and other recipes before. They don't look good when defrosted, but after heating and stirring they all come back together and taste wonderful!

  156. I added some celery and a can of green chillis just trying to get rid of them. It turned out great! I can't wait for my husband to get home and try it! Thanks. Love your site!

  157. I've been using your site for a few weeks now, and have not been disappointed yet! After this recipe though, I felt like I really needed to comment, because it was so delicious! I made it in the crock pot, so I think it reduced more than it was supposed to, and made less servings than expected, but the consistency was just right, so that is fine with me 🙂

I've shared your site with my WW meeting.

  158. Fantastic Site. Im printing this recipe out to try. I have been looking all over for a good Turkey chili recipe. By the comments I am sure I have found it.

  159. I made this this afternoon after making a disasterous white bean chicken chili from a mix last week and it was DELISH!! I halved the recipe because I didn't need 14 servings, and everything came out perfectly. Thanks for another spot on phenomenal recipe!

  160. Made this last night and it was delicious! The seasoning, in combination with the sour cream topping, really made a difference. I decided to cook this using the crockpot and added some leftover turkey sausage links to the recipe – I only had about half of the turkey meat suggested for this recipe. Awesome chili – Thanks, Gina!

  161. I made this for my last book club meeting along with Weight Watchers cornbread (made as muffins – it decreases the points/serving some; link here: http://www.weightwatchers.com/food/rcp/index.aspx?recipeid=66571). It was a hit. Everybody in the book club went back for seconds!

I was a little worried about the chili powder and red pepper flakes, because I have such a low tolerance for spiciness, but 2 tsp of each was perfect.

Making this tonight. The only thing I didn't have was the Canneli beans so my Hubby substituted dried beans that he cooked ahead of time. It smells yummy and can't wait to try it soon.

  163. Since I will cook this for only myself. I want to cut the receipe in half. How many points would it be if I made half of it?

    Thanks!

    Monjor23

  164. I followed this recipe to a Tee and for some reason it only produced 10 cups instead of 14, which upped the points value. Not sure what the difference was. 🙁

crystal- i have not tried it in the crock pot, but yes, beans are great in the crock pot.

You could use ff half & half in place of sour cream if you wish, but I prefer to use sour cream instead.

  166. I see fat-free half and half mentioned in several posts, but the recipe only calls for FF sour cream at the end. Am I missing a step, or is the FF 1/2 & 1/2 a sub for the sour cream?

hi…..i just finished making this..and i only used 2 lbs of ground turkey, so i wanted to figure out if it was less points! i was figuring (or trying to) out by ingredient, and it seems like 4 points is way too high for the amount of ingredients! i'm new to ww and just learning, so maybe i'm missing something. could you please help me and explain how you got the 4 point count. thank you! paula
ps….i have made several of your recipes and they are wonderful!!

  168. Gina, did you use 93/7 ground turkey or the 99% lean ground turkey? I was wondering which one the points were calculated with. I'm really excited to try this! Thanks!

    Gina @ Skinnytaste

@Crystal, it's hard to say, maybe the flame was too high? Adding more liquid, even if it's just water is always the solution to fix it, which sounds like that is what you did.

Yes, this is great with chips and a little cheese!

  170. My chili turned out really thick. I used the 3 lbs of turkey and the 2 cups of broth…it cooked down a little bit, but i ended up putting more broth in eventually. Is there something I missed?

  171. Hi Gina! I made this for my husband and I last night and we both loved it! I count calories instead of points and I was hoping you might have insight on the calories.

The ground turkey I used contains 160 calories per 4 ounces. If I ate a cup of the chili would 200-230 per cup be accurate? I've heard that ground meat is measured differently than liquids and 400 cal. seems high for one cup, so I thought I would check in with the master 🙂

  172. I just started cooking and so far this is my favorite recipe. It wasn't hard to make at all! Love it!

    Monica

  173. This was my first skinnytaste recipe and it was awesome! I made it a couple weeks ago for the first football Sunday of the season. I topped it with jalapenos, green onions, little shredded cheese and FF sour cream and it was fantastic. I dipped a couple tortilla chips in it like a dip as well. My friend couldn't believe it was "light"!

  174. really good! made a pot today, on our first "fall" day this year! I am so glad that I have some left over to freeze for awesome 4pt lunches!! thanks! you rock!

  175. Great chili – I make it all the time! I like to mix up some of the beans too – adding a can of chickpeas is wonderful in this recipe!

  176. I followed the recipe exactly and this was so yummy even my picky mom who ordinarily doesn't like chili or food with a "kick" really enjoyed this!!! This was the perfect comfort food for the rainy days we have been having and so light I didn't even feel guilty for skipping the gym!!!

  177. I love all of your recipes!!!!I'm so glad you make all kinds of food especially latin. Thank you.I was wondering if you could use navy beans in the white chili.

  178. Made this tonight and it was fabulous. I loved the fat free half and half at the end…makes it more creamy.
    Thanks for the great recipe!

  179. Wow, this is incredible…I only had 1 lb. of ground turkey, used 3 cans of beans, 1 1/2 c. broth and lessen the seasonings a bit. I keep finding gems of recipes on your site. Thank you so much. It really keeps me from straying off track with being on WW. Carrie

  180. I love your blog! The recipes all look so inviting and delicious…I plan on trying quite a few of them! Your pictures are beautiful, so excited I stumbled on your blog! I am listing it on my site
@fulltime-mom.blogspot.com this is a site for mothers, Thanks!

  181. Gina,
Can I use the chicken stock from your recent chicken stock recipe for the chicken broth in this White Bean Turkey chili recipe? Thanks! 🙂

  182. I am just getting started on weight watchers and I want to make this … probably a silly question but is the garlic minced? Also, any big point difference w/ ground chicken v. turkey. Thanks!

  183. A delicious recipe! Mine turned out a little soupier – I used a 1.25 lb pack of ground turkey, 1 onion, 2 cloves garlic, 3 cans beans, and about 1 and 1/2 cans chicken broth. I kept all of the other ingredients as listed above.
    My family loved it 🙂

    Thanks so much Gina!

  184. This was great! I added a chopped tomato and a big handful of baby spinach to give it a little color and some more veggies – would definitely recommend it! Thanks!

  185. @Vanessa – I'm sure finishing it on low for 6 hours should be fine. Let me know how it comes out in the crock pot!

    Hi Gina,
Love the recipes! I just made this tonight and I am transferring it from the stovetop after the step where you say to cook it for 10 minutes with the beans to the crockpot. I was wondering if you knew if I should cook it on low or high and how long do you think it should take in the crockpot? Thanks so much!

  187. This is delish! I've made it twice now only with ground chicken.. Would you happen to have the nutritional value of it? Thanks so much!

  188. Made this last week and LOVED it! Very Very tasty. I put in a couple more spoonfuls of Chili powder and a wee bit of cayenne (TX girl like it spicy) 🙂 Definitely a big hit at our house.

    Thanks

I have this simmering on my stovetop right now…smells amazing and my tastes have also been amazing!

Do you mind if I post this recipe on my own blog, with a link to your original?

  190. I'm actually going to a party tomorrow night and doing the same thing. I'm bringing this as a dip and adding some white cheddar and replacing the half and half with reduced fat cream cheese. Bringing chips to serve.

  191. Love this recipe!! Made this last week and have been eating all week for lunch, last night my husband and I didn't feel like cooking so we put some on the stove to warm and added a little Rotel turned it into mexican white bean turkey chili….delish!

  192. Hi Gina, love the site. I have two questions about the recipe, First, when you say 1 spray cooking oil, you are talking about non-stick cooking spray right? Second when you say lean ground turkey, do you use the 93/7 ground turkey or the 99% fat-free one which is often referred to as extra lean ground turkey? I just want to make sure I don't impact the points. Thank you!

  193. I substituted one can each of red kidney beans and black beans for two of the canellini beans in order to add a little color. Same general taste and it looks festive!

  194. I am getting ready to make this recipe and although we don't follow WWs, we do keep track of calories. Do you know approximately how many calories are in a serving of this chili?
    Thanks!

  195. Delicious!!! Wow – didn't believe turkey would be some yummy in chili! Perfect for a cool, fall night! And it makes so much!!!!

  196. This is so yummy!! I am not a big ground turkey fan and neither is my husband but we both LOVED this recipe!! thanks Gina!! =)

  197. Hi Gina. I made this recipe last night for friends. It was a hit! The whole pot disappeared in about 40 minutes and everyone wanted the recipe!

I reduced the chili amount since it sounded like a lot and I wasn’t sure how hot my guests would like their chili, and eyeballed the remaining spices. I added about 1/4 cup of grated into the chile too. Wow! It was amazing. My husband and neighbor said they like it better than regular chile and this picadillo I make. Not as heavy and very flavorful! Thanks for the recipe! Can’t wait to try ALL of them!
