Weight Watchers Banana Smoothie RecipeThis is a quick and easy, low point, healthy breakfast I like to make when I am on the run. It's delicious! I usually keep the vanilla yogurt in the freezer. Otherwise, I would add some ice.
Gina's Weight Watcher Recipes
Servings: 2 servings • Time: 2 minutes • Points: 2.5 ww points
- 1 banana
- 1 (6 oz.) Weight Watchers Vanilla Yogurt
- 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 cup fat free milk

that looks soooooo good. will have to try it. thanks. Mary
ReplyDeletedelicious! The only thing I did different was used light strawbeery/banana yogurt and added ice.
ReplyDeletethis was sooo good, very filling too
ReplyDeleteyum!!!! it's delicious!!
ReplyDeleteHow many points will this drink be if I add either Nesquick or fresh strawberries?
ReplyDeleteI don't use nesquick, but if you add 3/4 cup of fresh strawberries, it would be 2.75 points per glass and I'm sure it would taste great!
ReplyDeleteMy WW leader says there is no such thing as 2.5 points. She says if it is more than 2 then it is 3. Would you agree?
ReplyDeleteIf I had 2 glasses of this rather than one, the points would be 5 rather than 6 so no, I don't personally agree with that. But that's just me.
ReplyDeletei believe one sering of this is more like 3.5 points. do the math,,,banana is 2 pts, the yogurt is 1 point, the 2 cups of milk are 4 points. That totals 7 points. Divide by 2 = 3.5 points per serving.
ReplyDeleteI agree.
DeleteHi Gina! I wanna try this Smoothie, but I live in Moscow/Russia and here we don`t have a Weight Watchers Vanilla Yogurt((( So what can be substitute for it?
ReplyDeleteHi there, any fat free yogurt should work.
ReplyDeleteI made it with a frozen banana...makes the texture more like ice cream...really good! Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI made this smoothie and both my bf and I LOVED it- it tastes like a banana milkshake! I made it 3 or 4 times in 3 days haha. The last time I added some chocolate syrup and subbed some 1% chocolate milk for the skim and made another delicious treat! Re-posted both of these on my blog here:

Glad you liked it! I make this all the time for my kids, today I added some blueberries to it! I add whatever I have on hand.
ReplyDeleteHow many Calories does one serving equal. I'm not on weight watchers but I am counting calories....what do you think this would equal. I can't wait to try it! Thanks
ReplyDeleteHi There..I love this site and have made number of recipes already all wonderful. My question is, Im diabetic type 2 and would love to make the Banana Smoothie but I can not use the Vanilla Extract, What can I use to Substitute so it still tastes yummy?
ReplyDeleteTry vanilla stevia
ReplyDeleteI will try that :) thanks!!
ReplyDeleteHi Gina. Thank you again for an amazing recipe and site! Last night before I went to bed, I put my banana and yogurt in the freezer. This morning I made this and I added about 2 tsp. Of hershey's dark choc. Cocoa powder and a drizzle of honey and it was amazing!!! Milkshake for breakfast?? That's a "diet" I can live with!!LOL I started making your recipes about 2 weeks ago and I have lost 6 lbs so far and my family can not believe that they are eating healthy! Thank you again so much
ReplyDeleteHi Gina! When you add blueberries or strawberries or any other fruit about how much do you add?
ReplyDeleteSo delish! I made this and could not believe how tasty and filling it was- added strawberries to make it pink. Yummy!
ReplyDeleteI tried this... made a slight modification. Only used 1 cup of milk. Also tried it the way the recipe states. Liked it, but I also didn't have a ripe banana (so it wasn't totally awesome).
ReplyDeleteBut, this morning... with a ripe banana... one cup of skim milk? OFF THE CHAIN! Breakfast has never been so fun. Now, I had 2 servings of it... with a Smart Ones Breakfast Wrap. Love Love Love the smoothie. Also made the Santa Fe Chicken... ridiculously good. Trying the creamed spinach next week AND the Green Monster Smoothie. And, going to make the skinny mozzarella sticks this weekend for my guy friend (who opposes healthy food).
Great looking recipes that are healthy? I'm so ALL IN.
Mmm i want to try that once i try it i'll coment again ;)
