Broiled Salmon with Rosemary

Juicy salmon with rosemary, lemon and garlic, takes minutes to prepare which is always perfect for busy weeknights.

Salmon is high in protein and has heart-protective benefits associated with omega-3 fatty acids found in their fish oil. It is suggested that we eat fatty fish twice a week, I don’t always manage that but I try!

  1. Made this using only 2 pieces of salmon but the same quantities of everything else (no salt but some fresh cracked pepper) & it was wonderful!

  2. We roast or grill salmon quite often, so while we have some favorite toppings, I do like to try new ones to add to the variety. Unfortunately, this one was not a winner for us, even though it was grilled to perfection with fresh-from-the-garden rosemary.

  3. This was great! I subbed dill for the rosemary and left out the garlic since I am allergic. 1” salmon took 12
    minutes to reach 125F.

However don’t make the mistake I did the first time and line your dish with parchment. Parchment will catch fire that close to the heating element!

  4. Delicious and easy. I added a tsp of lemon infused olive oil to the rosemary/lemon juice and garlic baste along with salt and pepper. A very healthy quick and favorable dinner. Served with steamed broccoli.

  5. I made this last night and it was wonderful!  I didn’t have any garlic so left that out but the rosemary really put the fish over the top!

  6. Gina , Gina, Gina …. this is FABULOUS!  I cooked it in my air fryer at 380 degrees for 10 minutes and it was perfect. The whole time we were eating, my husband kept saying this is delicious. I felt like I was in a swanky restaurant (well except for the fact we were eating off of Fiesta dishes). Lol

Thank you so much for another winner. We ate it with a baked potato and your baked tomatoes with pesto and Parmesan cheese.  Quick and easy yet totally delicious meal!

  7. Has anyone tried leftovers of this recipe cold in a salad? I am planning to cut the recipe in half since I am by myself. Have the first piece on Sunday night and then bring the 2nd piece with me to work and eat it cold with baby spinach. Is it good the next day over a salad?

  8. I ended up putting the recipe into my fitness pal to calculate calories on this. It came out to 175 calories per serving.

  9. This is one of the best tasting and easiest salmon recipes I've found. The salmon is never dry and always flavorful! Thanks for the recipe!

  10. i DON'T SEE THE POINTS ON THE BOTTOM OF RECIPE? SOMETIMES I DO HAVE TROUBLES WITH THE WW WEB SITE. DID I MISS THEM?

  11. I LOVE this dish. My family and I make it every other week. The lemon juice really goes with the fattiness of the salmon. Thanks for such a great recipe!!!

  12. I made this dish last night and wow so delicious. Very moist and flavorful. I decided to back it instead of broiling it at 350 for 15 minutes. Still delightful. Thank you.

  13. I ended up using the entire portion of mixture on one salmon fillet… it was delicious! And I don't suppose it changes the points…? It's only garlic and lemon juice and herbs!

  14. This recipe is quick and easy. My whole family loves this one and they love that I make it so often. I would highly recommend this recipe if you like salmon.

  15. I have heard a lot about your website in my WW meeting. I will be using the recipes a lot especially since you keep up with the point system. I have also referred you to a few of my friends that love your website also. We are truly bless to have a God sent person like yourself. I will be cooking this tonight. Thank you

  16. cooked this tonight – it as so yummy, salmon always is but I did really enjoy the lemon. I was also confused about the points – WW online says half a fillet is 9 points – I cant tell from their site how much "half a fillet" is…..in any case if I am going to go on my points I am happy to do it with a super food like salmon 🙂

  17. This sounds really good. I was just wondering how you got the points+ 6? I looked in my weight watchers pts+ guide book, and for 5.5oz of wild salmon Filet its 7pts. For salmon steak its more. So I was just curious. Thanks! =)

  18. Very nice. Easy and quick, elegant & tasty! I "finished" the salmon after cooking with just a little added lemon juice to bring out a little more fresh light taste to the dish.

  19. I'm just learning to like salmon, and this recipe is delicious. I have to leave out the lemon because my husband really dislikes it. It was still great!

  20. I made this salmon tonight (caught by my husband from a local river earlier in the season). It was fantastic. All 4 of us loved it. I'm always looking for a good recipe for salmon, and joined WW yesterday, so this was a great start! Thanks for sharing it. 🙂

  21. Awesome! Sounds like a perfect combination with fish!!
Singapore, that sounds so exotic. Glad to help 🙂

  22. I made this last night for some friends, along with the bruschetta with tomatoes and basil, and sauteed zucchini julienne…it was AWESOME! I absolutely love your website! So lucky to have found it, especially living in Singapore now – I don't have my old WW resources!

  23. i miss salmon! back in oz, we have salmon steak almost every week. now here in the philippines, it’s too expensive! I never had one since 2006! so that pic makes me hungry. yum!
