These easy Pork Chops with Dijon Herb Sauce are so juicy and flavorful, and so simple to prepare.
Pork Chops with Dijon Herb Sauce
I have been making this Pork Chops with Dijon Herb Sauce recipe for years from an old Food and Wine cookbook, and I believe it’s one of the best ways to prepare pork chops. My husband is not the biggest fan of pork chops, but he loves them prepared this way. For more of my favorite pork chop recipes, try my Crispy Air Fryer Breaded Pork Chops, Pork Chops and Apple Sauce and Pork Chops with Mushrooms and Shallots.
Dijon Mustard Sauce for Pork
The combination of sauteed onions with Dijon mustard and fresh herbs is magical. This easy mustard sauce quickly transforms basic pork chops into a delicious dish with minimal ingredients. You can use any fresh herbs, but I always use chives and parsley since I have them in my garden.
How long do you cook pork chops?
How long you cook pork chops depends on how thick they are. For this recipe, I used one-inch bone-in pork chops and cooked them for about seven minutes on each side on the stove. If your chops are thinner or thicker or don’t have a bone in them, then you’ll need to adjust your cooking time accordingly. The best way to know if the pork chops are done is to use a meat thermometer. When it reaches 160 degrees, the pork is ready.
What to Serve with Pork Chops
These pork chops pair so well with many different sides. Below are some of my favorite side-dish ideas.
- Instant Pot Mashed Potatoes
- Parmesan Crusted Delicata Squash
- Roasted Green Beans with Caramelized Onions
- Sauteed Shredded Brussels Sprouts with Pancetta
- Autumn Salad with Pears and Gorgonzola
How to Store, Freeze, and Reheat Pork Chops
These pork chops will last three to four days in the refrigerator. You can also freeze them in containers with the sauce poured on top. The pork can be frozen for up to three months. When you’re ready to eat them, thaw the chops overnight in the fridge and reheat in the microwave.
Variations:
- Pork: Sub the bone-in pork chops for thick boneless chops. You can also grill or bake your pork if you prefer.
- Mustard: Use whole-grain mustard.
- Onion: Substitute onion for shallot or red onion.
- Herbs: Use any herbs you have on hand, like tarragon, rosemary, or thyme.
- Broth: Swap chicken broth for beef or vegetable broth.
- Sauce: Add mushrooms, fresh garlic, capers, white wine, or lemon juice to the sauce. Serve the Dijon mustard sauce on chicken or beef.

Pork Chops with Dijon Herb Sauce
Ingredients
- 1 tsp butter
- 4 pork chops, 22 oz with bone, fat removed, 1 inch thick, trim all visible fat
- 1/2 tsp salt
- fresh ground pepper
- 3 tbsp chopped onion
- 3/4 cup chicken stock or broth
- 1 tbsp dijon mustard
- 2 tbsp chopped, fresh herbs like parsley, chives
Instructions
- In a large skillet melt the butter over moderately low heat.
- Season the pork with salt and pepper.
- Raise heat to medium and add the chops to the pan and sauté for 7 minutes. Turn and cook until chops are browned and done to medium, about 7-8 minutes longer. Remove the chops and put in a warm spot.
- Add the onion to the pan and cook, stirring, until soft, about 3 minutes. Add the stock and boil until it reduces to 1/2 cup, about 2 to 3 minutes.
- Stir in the mustard, herbs, and 1/8 tsp pepper.
- Put the chops on a platter and pour the sauce over the meat.
I didn’t have fresh herbs. I had to use dried. But as I was making this I remembered I had a handful of mushrooms left from another recipe. I chopped them up and sauteed them with the onion. It was a wonderful addition to this recipe!
Made this with chicken thighs, since my husband can’t eat pork, beef, lamb. I find chicken thighs or turkey tenderloins are a good substitute. Anyway, it was delicious. The sauce is wonderful.
Loved this recipe! I made it last night for the first time. I used shallots vs onions. I also used about 1 tsp more mustard in the sauce. It’s a keeper! By the way, loved the new cookbook!
I recently heard about pork chops in slow cooker, so I gave it a try. Wow, so good!!! I put all of the ingredients from this recipe except the butter & cooked on low until they were falling off the bone. About 6-7 hours. I am finally a pork chop lover, no knife needed, & no fat to chew around! I will never cook them on the stove or grill again.
Delicious! My husband went back for seconds.
Made this tonight and it was such a hit! Quick and delicious. I served with Crispy roasted baby potatoes which was also awesome. Will make this again for sure!
Absolutely delicious and quick to make! I’m always looking for easy suppers to make after a long day at work, and this couldn’t be easier! The sauce is so yummy!
This is amazing! I suggest making a double batch!
I do use a whole onion because we really love onion.
The pork chops where so good different a keeper yummy
This is Sooooo good. I’m not usually a fan of pork. I made this when my husband bought a really big package of chops. I didn’t really want to eat barbecue pork several days in a row. Made this and I am a gigantic fan! This would also be something I would be willing to serve to company I wanted to impress.
Love love love this recipe! I made it tonight for my 3 adult children and their children., my grandkids. The time for cooking these thick chops was right on. The meat was tender and juicy and the sauce so delicious! It was a hit with everyone including the grandkids, ages 3-12.
Perfect!
The first time I made this my husband said the sauce tasted like a million bucks (or something silly like that) and now we call them million-dollar pork chops. I’ve made it several times since and the original recipe is DELICIOUS but I think I’ve finally found the right tweaks for our family. My most recent attempt, I marinated the pork chops in a dijon mustard, honey, garlic, olive oil mix for a few hours. I did everything else per the instructions, except adding a flour slurry after mixing in the mustard and herbs so it was a little thicker. I also added the pork chops back for a few minutes in the sauce to reheat them before serving, which ended up with the sauce sort of glazing onto the pork chops. I’ll do the same thing next time but not brown the pork chops for as long on each side so they don’t overcook when they’re back in the sauce.
Highly recommend this recipe – everyone I know who has tried it says it’s restaurant quality.
I tried this recipe, OMG…so delicious.. will definitely make this more.
This was one of mine and my husband’s favorite pork chop recipes! It helps that we start with pork from a family farm that is great tasting. I used shallots rather than onion as I had one to use. True to Skinnytaste form, it was simple to make and the dijon sauce was excellent and elegant. Yum! We paired it with the Rainbow Potato Salad and good sweet watermelon.
Made this for the second time. Had thicker boneless chops. Finished cooking them in the oven at 350 degrees after browning. Finished the sauce while they were finishing. Made with chives once and parsley the second time. Better with chives! Also used shallots instead of onions. Excellent quick dish. Pairs well with many sides.
This was delicious. My food snob husband said it was one of the best meals he’s had in a long time!! We paired it with the skinnytaste rainbow potato salad and a garden salad. So good.
Very, very tasty and so easy! I used parsley because that’s what I had, but next time I will add some chives. I had boneless pork chops on the larger side so just cooked them longer and put them in a preheated 200 degree oven to keep warm while making the sauce. Served over rice.
Just delicious . Served with steamed green beans and roasted baby potatoes . What a great dinner for a Monday night.
Thanks again Gina
Made this tonight with thin sliced boneless pork chops. Cooked for 2-1/2 to 3 minutes per side. So good!
OMG this sauce is SO good. Super easy to make. I tried it with parsley (not chives). Will add this to my regular rotation!
This was amazing! So easy and quick and so delicious! I realized my chicken stock was no longer good, so I used water with a tablespoon of olive oil and it still turned out fantastic. Making again this weekend!
We just had this for dinner and it was SO good! I can’t believe how easy it was and how juicy and tasty the pork came out. Definite new fave!
Wow, this was such a pleasant surprise!
I’m not usually big on pork chops, but this was a dish that I could make over and over again! My husband said that it’s the best pork dish he has ever had. As a bonus, this was super quick and easy to put together. The flavors in the sauce is divine, and the timing of cooking the pork was spot on for deliciously juicy pork chops.
I paired this with the Parmesan Crusted Delicata Squash as suggested in the meal plan. That is now a favorite as well. With a mandolin, it comes together really quickly and my husband said it was better than garlic fries. High praise all the way around for this meal. Thank you!
You’re welcome! So glad you enjoyed it!
Quick and delicious! Will make again and again!
My husband bought boneless pork chops – could I use those? So excited to try these!
The commenter below states she used boneless and they worked great.
This recipe comes out really good and it’s simple to make for a weeknight dinner. I always double the gravy ingredients so that I can use my full can (14.5 oz) of chicken broth and have extra gravy for our sides. This helps if you’re serving with potatoes and veggies on the side so it’s not dry, and keeps leftovers moist for the next day. I also add 1 TBSP of cornstarch to thicken the gravy. I’ve made this with boneless pork chops, and bone-in. It’s a success with whatever pork chops I have available. Definitely recommend!
My six-year-old grandson requests this for dinner every time he comes over. It’s delicious!
Hi Gina, many of your recipes have become staples in our house. Made these tonight and have to say they are every bit as delicious as stated. I usually do not care much for pork chops but will make these again. My husband also loved them. Thank you for keeping us inspired.
So glad you enjoyed them!
This recipe was very easy, fast to make and very good. Will be making them again.
Excellent!!! I used boneless pork chops that were about 1/2 inch thick, and cooked them three mins each side. Made the sauce, added a salad for a side, and we had supper in under 15 minutes. Gina, thank you for your dedication to this site, and for sharing the recipes. Once again this recipe, in my opinion, was excellent! *I used French’s Honey Dijon Mustard.
Thanks JT!
Super good and easy!
Thoughts on adding capers to this sauce?
Sure!
Made exactly as written. Unfortunately, these were chewy and incredibly bland. The bone in pork chops I used weren’t overdone, but they were very dry. I often grill pork chops with better success. I think these would be better if they had been marinated before cooking which would infuse flavor and tenderize the pork. I’m usually a huge fan of skinnytaste recipes but these were a huge disappointment.
Very Good! Simple and quick recipe. Sauce makes it special. Husband gave it 2 thumbs up! I used boneless chops.
I’m usually reluctant to make pork chops at home but in Gina I trust! This recipe came out perfectly. Hubs loved it and I loved how easy it way to make! Juicy and delicious!
Easy and delicious. My visiting young grandson loved it and asked for more. Will make it again, and soon!
Husband has declared these the best pork chops I’ve ever made.
Awesome!
I love this very easy recipe. Butter and low heat. I had fresh parsley. I added a squeeze of anchovy paste because I add it to so many things for a little umami. Can’t taste it but it adds so much. Putting this in the rotation!
Made this 3 times using fresh herbs from FL garden. I cut chops from 1/2 pork loin. Definitely keeping this recipe! Oregano, parsley, rosemary and garlic, green onions, Thai and regular Basil. Mushrooms, stone ground mustard. All good.
Made this tonight and got raves from the fam. I used beef broth since I had some open already and threw in some mustard dill sauce that came in a package of lox from Costco and it was delicious. Served with toasted Brussels sprouts on the side.
This recipe is amazing! I make this boneless pork chops. Tonight I served it with roasted asparagus and parmesan delicata squash but have also served it with Salmorejo and it was just as delicious. Next time I will make it with rice or potatoes, something to sop up all that yummy sauce.
This was easy and delicious! I may use boneless pork chops next time only because the bones took up too much room when cooking. 🙂 Sauce was a lovely touch! Served with green beans and a Caesar salad.
These were amazing!! I paired with some roasted sweet potatoes and a garden salad it was devine 🤤 thank you for posting all these wonderful recipes!
Made this for dinner tonight. Very good. My chops browned a little faster than planned so I turned the heat down, put a lid on it and kept them on low for a bit. I also added a little corn starch to the sauce to thicken it a bit since I made garlic risotto with peas to go with it. The hubs actually said it was excellent. : )
Our family loved this recipe. It’s is extremely easy and reheats well for leftovers.
just made and added mushrooms in with the onions! so easy and delicious!!
Had this for dinner tonight….So Gooood!
These are the BEST freaking pork-chops. I added fresh minced garlic to mine and also rosemary to the list of herbs. And of course lots of extra butter lol. But anyways SOOOO good. Thanks for the recipe! It was great with homemade mac & cheese and a fresh salad! My family loved them.
Great meal, i only cooked about 4 min per side.
Can you adapt for the instant pot?
Excellent recipe! Can also substitute chicken breasts. I like it with fresh dill. If you’re watching your sodium, you can leave out the salt, as there is enough of it in the broth. Or, use a low sodium broth.
Delish!!!!
Pork chops are something I find boring, so I try to find recipes to change them up. Since I had all the ingredients last night, I decided to try this recipe. It was easy & I got rave reviews from hubby. The only thing I changed was I used dried parsley (2tsp). This one’s a keeper!
Wondering if this could be adapted to cook in the crockpot after browning the chops. Has anyone made this recipe that way?
I think this was my favorite home cooked meal.
Not sure but I think I might be addicted to this website.
I’ve tried several recipes and have recaptured my joy for cooking.
PS – the guys in my family are impressed as well!
Lol thanks Jeanne! Glad you all enjoy it!
Delicious! Added chopped mushrooms with the onions. Seasoned with homegrown thyme. Served with Gina’s Teeny Tiny Potatoes recipe. Swapped thyme for the rosemary. Great combo for 8 freestyle points. It’s a keeper.
Excellent!! I used vegetable broth. My husband also loved it
Made this last night and they were delicious! My daughter, who usually doesn’t like pork chops, LOVED these. Another perk, they are so easy to make!!!
Wonderful recipe! Amazing flavor!
According to myfitnesspal the calories for this are incorrect
We were recently advised by our endocrinologist not to rely on the myfitnesspal information as it is typically incorrect. It is crowd-fed and not everyone has accurate information they are inputting. CalorieKing has been vetted by doctors and found to be reliable and has most chain restaurants and common brands on it. It’s an easy app to use.
So delicious, easy, and inexpensive! My boyfriend loved this.
Another five star recipe! This one is delicious! We will definitely be making these pork chops again!
I just made this tonight. OMG! They were so good and juicy. I used boneless chops. They were pretty thick so It took about 8-9 minutes per side. I used parsley and some basil from my garden. So fast and delicious. Thank you for another good recipe Gina.

I love this recipe! I never want to make bone-in pork chops any other way. Thank you Gina!
You’re welcome Danielle! 🙂
I’m really excited to try this recipe!! When I put it into my Points calculator on the WWers website, it said one serving was only 3 freestyle points.
Firstly, I would like to thankyou for sharing so many of your recipes. It makes meal planning a wee bit easier when walking the path of weight loss/healthy eating
I made this recipe for the first time as I was needing a change from chicken and fish. And it was SUPER delish. I did add a little splash of white wine to it and some mushrooms. Very good
I love your recipes. They are all I make on a daily basis!!
I loved this recipe, except I thought it was missing something so I squeezed half a lemon to the sauce. That little add took it to the next level!!
Thank you for your amazing recipes. I’ve lost 22 lbs this far eating only skinny taste recipes.
Great job Diane! 🙂
Loved the flavors of this recipe and it was so easy to make! Just a subtle hint of dijon brings the whole dish together! Looking forward to trying more of your recipes. Thank you for sharing it!

Perfect! So easy and flavorful, both of my kids (8 and 10 and a pretty picky) as well as my husband loved this…thank you!
I’ve made this a few times. They’re delicious (and I am not a huge pork chop fan)!
So yummy and easy! Thank you!
These were great! I did skip the dijon (I’m the only one in the family who likes that)…was still a great pan sauce and very easy to do. I do need to take the chops off a minute or two earlier, for one of my pickier eaters.
Made this last night and it was absolutely fabulous! My boyfriend and I are in love with the recipes and I’ve made 95% of my meals this week from the website and haven’t found one yet we haven’t liked. Thank you Gina!!
Fabulous! My daughter who won’t eat pork chops even asked me to put this recipe in the family cookbook!
Such a simple and delicious recipe. I’ve used it several times for pork chops, but last night I was looking for a way to prepare chicken breast and always wanted to try it prepared this way. It was delicious. Thanks Gina!
Can you sub something for the dijon mustard?
This is my go-to pork chop recipe!
Delicious and oh so easy!
Love all your recipes! Can you make this with boneless pork chops?
Sure just make sure they are thick
Delicious and simple! This is the first time I’ve actually enjoyed pork chops. Thanks Gina!
You’re welcome Kaity!
Seriously… delicious… made this tonight and the whole family loved it… I used shallots instead of onions bc my kids like them better and added sliced garlic… this was absolutely fantastic.
Great!
This looks so amazing to make! Question, will I be able to use my cast iron for this recipe?
Yes, I don’t see why not.
Making this right now. I thought I had a bottle of honey mustard and a bottle of dijon mustard in the fridge, instead it was two bottles of honey mustard (I don’t even eat that usually?!) so I’m trying it with honey! We will see how it turns out! I’m still looking forward to it!
Eating it with green beans and mashed cauliflower to keep with the low points! Here we go!
I made this tonight for Christmas Eve dinner and had to come back on and comment. I am not a meat eater, so I didn’t have any but my husband LOVED it…especially the sauce. He had two helpings, and I served it with sauteed spinach and sweet potato. Thank you, as always, for another great recipe!
Thanks Erin!
Made this last night. It was delicious! I used two pork bone in porterhouses, they usually have those at my grocery store. It was great! They were really moist and the sauce was perfect. Not too much dijon, just enough. I served them with some roasted potatoes. Will make again! I think these would also be good with some chicken thighs.
I’ve made the pork chops several times and loved them. Last night I used boneless, skinless chicken breasts. Delish also!

Just made this for tonight’s supper , we loved it ! Thank you for your delicious recipes
I made this tonight!! My husband and I both loved it!! ABSOLUTELY added to my pork chop rotation!! Thank you
I made this for dinner tonight and I was going to take a picture to tag you on Instagram….but my family ate it too quickly! I had fresh parsley and dill so I used them and it was magical! We had spaghetti squash (with extra sauce!) and salad alongside. Thank you!
Can these be cooked on the grill?
I don’t see why not.
I’ve made these serval times before and we’ve always loved them. This time I grilled them and they came out great! Doubled the sauce and used half as a marinade and then the other half over the cooked pork chops served on cauliflower purée with roasted greens on the side and it was outstanding! Thanks Gina for our entire meal tonight that everyone loved!
*roasted green beans
made the dijon pork chops tonight, they were delicious, thank you for a great recipe.
You’re welcome Denise!
This was fantastic! I had everything in my kitchen except the herbs so I skipped those this time. Even without them, this porkchop was so full of flavor. I’m not a huge fan of porkchops but this is my new go to.
Great!

We made these the other night. Delicious! We do grocery store pick up and they gave us 2 HUGE, THICK bone-in chops. Took forever to cook. We were thinking we may just try this with boneless next time.
seriously good! I didn’t have Dijon mustard, so found a recipe online and made my own (super easy). I also only had fresh parsley, and I used dried oregano, it was still seriously good. One of my new favorite pork chop recipes!
Thanks!
Just made these tonight. Both my sister (who is a picky healthy eater) and my husband (who only likes stuff that isn’t healthy) loved them. I’m definitely going to make them again.
Hi Gina,
I love love love everything you post ! I am a relatively new old cook and really enjoy the simplicity yet complex flavors of all your receipts. I made the pork chops w Dijon herb sause tonight. Probably a dumb question, but am I cooking on too hot of stove top ? I used olive oil instead of butter, but the oil pops all over the stove and makes clean up a bigger process. Perhaps I need to turn down the heat ??
Thank You ! U make me look like I know how to cook 🙂
Randy
Yes, too hot for sure.
That and you’ve changed the recipe..
I have been a fan of yours for years but somehow I missed this recipe the first time you posted it. I made it tonight and it has quickly moved into my top 5 recipes I have gotten from this site! So simple and makes such a pretty plate. Thank you for giving me yet another awesome recipe to add to my regular rotation!
Isn’t it delish!!
Gina, I’ve probably made 15-20 of your recipes, and this one was my favorite. That’s saying a lot because I didn’t even think I liked mustard! I used boneless pork chops since it’s what was available. I didn’t need to cook the chops the whole time listed, maybe 7 minutes total. This will definitely be going into my rotating. I served it with green beans and roasted butternut squash. A+ from me!
Thanks Lisa!
We had these Saturday night……amazing. Not too complicated for such a yummy dish. My only substitution was boneless chops. They will be in regular rotation at our house.
Ive been making these lately…my husband is a big pork chops fan…they are easy and delicious! I use the frenched pork chops from Trader Joe’s (probably more points) but oh so good!
I made this dish for Sunday dinner and it was Delicious! I had to tweak it a little bit, because I put too much mustard in it, by adding a little bit of Balsamic vinegar, and other spices., even though recipe said to spread the sauce over the meat once on the plate, I put the chop into the sauce and let it simmer a little longer and turn out to be very Delicious! My husband loved it and he is hard to please when it comes to his meals! Lol I cooked egg noodles in a lemon sauce had as a side plus cover the noodles with the sauce from the chop and Man o man, it was so delicious I thought I was a Gourmet Chef! Thanks for sharing this recipe!
Great!!

I love these! I do think the older picture is better. The new ones don’t capture the juiciness quite like the first pic!
Just curious, Gina, if you’ve tried brining the pork. I’ve been researching it recently because my pork always comes out dry. Most brining recipes tell you to use sugar along with the salt, but the calorie-conscious ones say you can skip the sugar and still get great results. I’m going to try it but wondered if you have & if you noticed a difference. (Thanks for all you do! My husband and I are losing weight and feeling healthier than we have in years thanks to your recipes.)
You don’t have to for this recipe, but yes, I have!

My husband does most of the cooking, but he hates pork chops. I was craving them so I decided to try out this recipe. It was delicious and so easy! My husband was very impressed. Next time I will pound out the pork chops a bit more, and I like the idea of adding mushrooms too. I didn’t have any fresh herbs so I added a handful of dried marjoram. Incredible!!
Thank you! 🙂
A favorite recipe with a flavorful sauce. I love Edmund Fallot Dijon mustard and like any excuse to use it. Also added clove of garlic to the broth, and chopped rosemary to the onion. I have a wonderful seasoning from a local place that is known for years for this seasoning: called RoastMary. It is from the “Rosemary House” in Mechanicsburg, Pa. Seasoned chops with that. I had boneless pork chops and they tend to be a bit tougher but the flavor was so good. I just seared in a hot cast iron pan for one minute and flipped them and cooked about 4 more minutes.
Made this tonight! So delish! Everyone loved it thanks for the awesome recipes. You are my go to site when looking up ideas to keep it clean and simple.
Thanks Cyndie!
Wonderful sauce. Had boneless center cut pork chops that were 5.25 to 5.5 ounces raw after fat removed. Hard to find good sizes of meats. They all seem to be so much larger. Adjust calories to a larger chop. Will make again. Excellent. Thank you.
This dish is DELICIOUS!! Simple enough to make on a week night yet plates elegantly enough for company! Love, love, love!! Best compliment was when my picky son asked if I could make it again tomorrow night. Thank you!!
GINA! Another winner!!!!! I made these last night with boneless chops + it was delicious. First time cooking pork!
OMG Gina! This has become my new go to recipe for pork chops! This is incredibly easy and tastes like you spent all day preparing it! Thanks for sharing and keep creating!
Did it work out using the spicy mustard?
I made this for my family tonight with bacon-wrapped green beans and a roll. Maybe too much pork for one meal, but all enjoyed it! I was impressed with the flavors, texture, and the appearance of this meal. I will share this terrific recipe with my Facebook friends.
Thank you for sharing!
Another super recipe! I love all your recipes, and my husband has enjoyed them as well! Thanks!
I made this for dinner tonight and it was D-E-L-I-C-I-O-U-S! The only thing I did different was let the pork chops simmer in the sauce while waiting for the sides to cook. I'm going to try this recipe using chicken, too!
hi Gina!! Thanks for sharing, you are amazing!! Do you think I could use spicy mustard instead of dijon?? That's all I seem to have in the fridge and I am dying to make it tonight!
I used a center cut pork roast and cut up into chops 🙂 Loved it! My husband was drinking the sauce lol!
I made this tonight and it was so simple and so good! Definitely a keeper!
Any tips to convert to a slow cooker recipe?
These were AMAZING!!!
trying this one tonight
Scored big with Asian drumsticks and mini turkey meatloafs with whole family.
Also pumpkin spice snickerdoodles last night- to die for
Yum! Such a tasty, easy meal. We used thick, boneless chops and had your roasted corn on the cob and some sauteed veggies with parm. Quick yet so full of flavor. Thanks!
I can't stop saying "this was good." lol. I paired it with the cilantro lime rice and made Mac and cheese for my husband and cub. So juicy and full of flavor. Will definitely make this again!!
I have been looking for a really good really easy thick pork chop dish and I have found it. These pork chops really do taste like a 5 star restaurant meal. The only thing I changed was cooking the pan seared chops in the gravy while reducing the sauce and bringing the chops up to 150. Cooking them 7 minutes on one side and 7 minutes on the other did not bring them up to 150. Other than that this recipe is perfect. Thanks for posting 🙂
YUM. served with creamed cauliflower and it was delicious!
These are so delicious! I always serve with butternut squash and brocolli. This is one of our favorite weight watchers meals.
This recipe and the Pork Chops with Mushrooms and Shallots are my favorite ways to cook pork! I'm not really a pork eater, but this is amazing. Love the mashed cauliflower too!
This receipt was great. My husband enjoyed it…he gets a little cautious when I try a new receipt….it more often than not ends up tasting pretty bad…But this was a hit.
It was very easy to prepare too!
This is soooo delicious. My husband is leary of any pork chop not made the traditional way (think pork chops and applesauce). He absolutely loved this and so did I. We had one left over and I took it to work the next day, smothered in the sauce. I nuked it for about a 1.5min and it was still so tender and delish! Love this!
Hi Gina, I LOOOOVE your recipes… haven't had anything I didn't like. BUT, my family isn't a dijon fan.. but wondering how it'll taste pairing it… any suggestions?
Going to try these tonight 😉
I made this recipe over the weekend & it was fantastic! I have yet to try a recipe from your site that hasn't been tasty and easy to prepare. I regularly suggest your site to friends and family. Thanks so much!
I made this with tarragon too and it was delicious!! I thought i read that tarragon was included on this recipe so i used it and when I went back it never said to use it…oh well! It was delicious with it and a must for this recipe!
I made these and they were delicious! My family ate them and I will say that we will most surely be making it again soon! Great recipe, yum!!
Hi! I made these last night and they were delicious. I must be calculating something wrong when I enter it into my WW recipe builder, though. It says that 1/4 of 22 oz of lean pork chop is 6 pts. Was the 22 oz before the fat and bone was removed? Thanks!
I'm making this today with apple cider instead of chicken broth, and sage, parsley, and chives. Serving with your crockpot applesauce, roasted cabbage, and cranberry wheat berry salad. So excited for dinner!
OMG I made this tonight and they were awesome, I will make this again. Two thumbs up!!
Made this today and instead of adding the herbs and mustard at the end I added it when I put in the chicken broth and let it simmer down and it was delicious!!
WOW!! This is my new favorite way to eat pork chops. My husband and children ask for these regularly. I have tried many herbs from the garden in this recipe (dill, chives, etc…) and they always turn out amazing!!
My 11 year old son made this last night. It was so delicious. Thanks for all the wonderful recipes!
I have a question, I HATE mustard…I want to try this but need to ask first, does the mustard leave the porkchops tasting like mustard? I know that sometimes the ingredients are simply used to enhance the flavor and you don't actually taste it, I am really hoping that this is the case with this! If it does come off tasting like mustard do you have any other suggestion to replace it??? Thanks!
You could leave the mustard out…and add CUMIN…Portuguese-style (think minimum one level teaspoon…I add almost a level tablespoon as cumin marries SO well with pork!! I love mustard…but I don’t really see it with pork normally!
I am eating dish this as i write this comment…Delicious!!
Hi Gina! Love your recipes! I have so much fun checking out your new ones that you post, and I have probably "pinned" more than half of yours 🙂 I do have a quick question for this recipe (which sounds amazing!).. Do you think fresh Thyme would go well with or even fresh basil? I do not have parsley or any other fresh herb.
Thanks!
I made this recipe and loved it – thank you! check out how mine turned out below:
http://jilleveryday.com/2012/02/22/pork-chops-with-dijon-herb-sauce-cauliflower-puree/
made this tonight using lean boneless loin chops, I used fresh rosemary and thyme from my garden. It was delish!!! Served with mashed potato, steamed broccoli and peas.
SO GOOD. I used boneless chops and put in shallots instead of onions and it was excellent. Made with roasted potatoes and asparagus. I also only made 2 chops but the full sauce amount so we could soak it up with the potatoes.
BRAVO!!!
My husband said his tastebuds are dancing!
I made these last night, I added 3 cloves of garlic and used boneless chops. These were amazing!!! My kids devoured them and they have no idea how healthy they are! Thanks again Gina.
Just tried this meal tonight, halving the meat but keeping everything else quantity wise the same except for using one red onion, wholegrain mustard and more than the quantity of stock as we like a lot of sauce. Used dried herbs and served with rice, even with all the minor changes your recipe was just brilliant. Thank you very much for a quick and easy dish to add to the rotation!
Hi Gina, you are amazing!!! I'd like to make this recipe using a pork tenderloin. Do you think that would work? Should I cut the tenderloin into medallions or just leave it whole?
Awesome! I made this per the recipe with three thick bone in pork chops. Absolutely delicious, so good in fact my 3 year old who doesn't like meat said "Mommy! I like pork chops!". I used fresh thyme and paired them with your Roasted Green Beans and some sauteed mushrooms. Epic dinner and going into my permanent rotation. Thank you for your wonderful recipes, I am NEVER disappointed.
Loved this!I made this with sliced pork tenderloin…added worchestershire to the sauce and while it was simmering I added 3/4 cup of skim milk with 2 tablespoons of flour to thicken the sauce and served it with whole wheat noodles…my whole family loved it. I love your recipes. They make eating healthy feel good and taste great.
These pork chops were awesome! I usually avoid making chops on the stove because they always seem to come out too tough. Not these! I used parsley and tarragon, and actually finished them in the sauce, covered on low for a few minutes, turning them in the sauce. I served them with your Cauliflower puree which was also delicious! Thanks !
This was absolutely delicious!! I used boneless pork chops and accidentally let my sauce reduce to a thicker consistency. The results were still out of this world. This is one of my favorite recipes on this site. Thanks, Gina!!
Sorry for the double post, but some of my words didn't post above. My husband said, "There were a knock-out; I'm having seconds!"
Thanks again for the delish recipe!

I made these tonight and some of the comments my husband made were, "I would eat these every night!" and "These were a knock-!" I am not a huge fan of pork chops, but I LOVED these! I cut and chopped everything the night before and put everything in individual containers in the fridge. It made making this dish a snap. Will definitely make this again and again!

So Yummy. I used boneless pork chops but I would prefer a thicker chop so I don't over cook. I've never used butter before frying my chops and they browned so much better than EVOO. Super tasty. We loved it. The gravy went nice over a baked potato
I thought I made a recipe from this website, that was a pork loin chop that was breaded with italian bread crumbs, and then you put it in the crockpot.I can't find it anywhere??? My husband loved them. By the way I love this site…made several of the recipes and dressings etc… You are a fabulous cook!
Debbie, Riv.CA.
I made this for dinner last night with boneless pork chops. It was DELICIOUS!! I am so excited I found your website. I am using Pepperplate and your recipes fit so nicely and it is wonderful you put nutrition and ww info. I am so excited to explore and try your other recipes!!! ~ Kristina in MD
I have made many pork chop recipes and this recipe by far surpasses all of them. I couldn't stop at one serving, this makes for a very healthy and delicious meal!! you don't need dijon either, i made mine with another type of mustard and they came out perfect. I also wasn't afraid to throw in some thyme. delicious!!!
Made these for dinner tonight and they were delisth! I didn't have any Dijon so used regular mustard instead and they still turned out great. YUM!
These were so yummy 🙂 I am making them again tonight!!
I agree…Amazing recipe..Gina thank you for your recipes..I really fell like I can make it to goal now that I have found you!
Amazing recipe! Made it with the teeny tiny potatoes and roasted green beans! What a GREAT GF meal! Thanks Gina!
I'm going to try this in a crock pot today. I have think cut boneless chops. I will leave feedback! Thanks for the recipe idea.
This recipe was amazing and so easy to make. I didn't have Dijon on hand so I did a mix of regular mustard and wasabi. Sounds strange but it was really good. This will definitely make it into my rotation.
Wow! These were the best pork chops ever! I made them over the weekend and the family asked for them again, so I made them tonite. Just a few minor tweeks, 4 chops would never be enough for us, I have an eating machine teenager, so I used a family sized pkg instead. To make up for the difference, I just added a bit more chicken broth, dijon, and a little more chopped onion, and 1 Tbs of flour, to give the sauce just a little more body. Gina, you are a godsend! I feel like with you, I can get to goal weight (this time). Thank you sooo much!!!
This looks good but I wondered if you think it would work without the onions? My husband can't eat them, which can be a challenge since so many recipes use them. Will this lose all it's flavor without them? Any suggestions for substitutes?
These pork chops are delicious!!
I made these last night and the sauce was incredible. I love this recipe- this will be how I make all porkchops from now on!
I love your blog, Gina- I use ziplist on my iPhone to upload all your recipes and convert them to my weekly shopping list! SO convenient and healthy.
<3 – Brittany
This looks lovely, do you think it would work in a slow cooker/crockpot? Thanks for all your yummy recipes!
These pork chops were wonderful. I really appreciate the specific cooking instructions – the result was tender, moist chops that had a great flavor. I didn't have fresh herbs so I used dried tarragon and parsley – very good. Also, I added mushrooms. We like sauce, so next time I will not cook the sauce down quite as much. First time I have made something in a while that my husband said "amazing"!
This was wonderful. I used boneless 1/2 inch chops because that is what I had on hand. I was out of fresh herbs so I used a tablespoon of tastefully simple dill mix and it was still great. The entire family enjoyed this meal.
I made these tonight with tarragon, and they were fantastic! All your recipes look so yummy!
I'm confused about the calorie count, portion size, etc. I'm new to calorie counting, weighing food, etc. so I might be doing something wrong. Your recipe states 4 pork chops (22oz with bone), 1" thick, fat trimmed. I translate this to mean that each raw pork chop would be approx. 5.5oz including the bone weight, after the fat is trimmed. I could only find 1/2" thick chops, and after trimming the fat, the weight was approx 6.5oz. Using the nutritiondata.self.com calculator for pork, fresh, loin, center loin (chops), bone-in, separable lean only, raw, I calculated my chops to be approx 234 calories each. That is big difference from your serving size portion of 166 calories. I calculated my recipe per serving as 263 calories. I didn't expect that much difference, especially since my chops were 1/2" thinner that the recipe called for. What am I doing wrong? Thanks! Scarlett
Good stuff! I think my chicken stock simmered too long because my sauce wasn't very saucey more like spredable. Next time I won't simmer so long. Great flavor though.
My husband made these last night. AMAZING. We all loved them, even my 2 year old.
This was delicious!!! Can't wait to make again 🙂
Loved these when I made them last night, but needed to add a lot more broth (I doubled it, but could have added more, then reduced more) to get the amount of sauce I wanted. Still delicious, though! Substituted green onion for onion, and used cilantro as my herb.
Just choose one herb.
HI
Just wondering if you use all the different herbs or do you just choose one and use?
Bev
This would be great with teeny tiny potatoes, skinny garlic mashed potatoes or a salad.
These were mouthwateringly good! Love your site!
What side would you recommend to pair with this dish?
Pork chops are FANTASTIC with sauté of apples or applesauce/purée….So good and passed down from my Mom & Grandma!!!
Making these tonight…I've made 5 or 6 recipes and every single one was easy to follow and so delicious…I am so happy that I found your site!!!! 🙂
this was amazing! I will definitely make it again!
These are delicious! I will be making these again! I am going to make twice the sauce next time.
mmmmm!!! I made this recipe tonight for dinner and it was a huge hit thank you so much! The only problem is I could have ate them all…thank goodness for family.
Amazing!! Just made this for my parents and they loved it! I used wholegrain mustard because i didnt have any Dijon, added mushrooms in the sauce and served with broad beans and garlic & chive mash potato!
Just made these and they are so delicious! I always have trouble with pork chops b/c sometimes they come out tough. This recipe is easy and delicious. I have a small herb garden and used lemon thyme, oregano and chives. Also used boneless 1" chops (that's what I had in freezer) and they came out great. Thanks Gina!
A keeper! I used shallots and olive oil instead of onions and butter. Could not have been easier to prepare. Served with a side dish of orzo and veges….cooked thin asparagus pieces and halved grape tomatoes right in the pasta water; finished with some toasted garlic and a teaspoon of olive oil prepared in the same pork chop/sauce pan so it picked up some of the flavor. The entire meal was done in less than an hour with only two pots.
I made these tonight and they were absolutely delicious!!!!!!!!!!!! My whole family (kids included) gave two thumbs up! 🙂 These are going on our regular menu.
A pork chop shepard's pie!! 🙂
I made a ton of these pork chops the other day because I had picked up a bunch of the pork on clearance at a local grocery store. I figured we could eat them for lunch or whatever. Well, they weren't getting eaten fast enough. I came up with a recipe/dish to help use the leftover meat and sauce (of which I also made a ton).
Here's what I did:
Diced up (in medium chunks) the meat and put the pieces in the bottom of a 9 X 13 baking dish. I took a very large onion and a bunch of mushrooms and sauteed them in a pan. I took the mushroom mix and the meat and combined them all together and then took the leftover sauce and poured it over the meat mixture. I made homemade mashed potatoes and neatly put it on top and smoothed it out. I baked this at 375 degrees F. for about 30 minutes.
It's just like shephard's pie, but oh so much better!!
I also made this with your CONgri recipe, yummy!! Loved it
You did it again! Another wonderful meal from Skinnytaste! Thank you! Next time I will double the sauce and use it on top on my rice. It was WONDERFUL!!!
Made these today for Father's Day–they were a Huge hit! Juicy, tender, and full of flavor–Fresh herbs that I used were chives, tarragon, & a little sage. Definitely a top favorite! Thank you!
I made these last night and my husband and I raved about them thru the whole meal. I used brown mustard and broth and I used coco oil instead of butter and they still turned out great. This recipe is a KEEPER!
Made these for dinner last night and they were delicious! And we don't even like pork chops! Hubby said it's a keeper – the ultimate recipe compliment in our house 🙂 Thanks Gina!
OMG I made this tonight and they were so tasty, I will make this again. Thanks
I just found your site a couple weeks ago, and this is the first recipe I tried. My husband and I loved it. I also made some green beans and rice with it. Yummy.
Thanks 8)
I wasn't sure if I'd like this recipe because I'm not a fan of dijon mustard, but the picture convinced me to try it out, and WOW–I'm glad I did! It was delicious!!! It tasted like it came from a nice, fancy restaurant! Hard to believe this is so low in points!
~Teresa~
I love this receipe and so does my boyfriend, we have it regularly. I check out your website at least once a week and have tried many recipes, all a hit. Thanks Gina!
So I had some pork chops in the fridge and wanted to find a new way to cook them. After making your yummy pineapple cupcakes this weekend I found this recipe. OMG! DELICOUS!!!! I absolutely loved it. My husban went nuts over it. Usually he says something tastes fine or if he hates it he says nothing. Tonight he went on for an hour about how that was fancy reataurant quality dinner!!! I made some baked seasoned red potato wedges and peas to go with it. The wedges went perfectly. Not only was this so tasty but very easy to make. There is a little prep but overall very simple.
These along with many other recipes on this site are delicious and rather easy. Two thumbs up for this one!
I made these for dinner tonight. Yum!!!
This is absolutely delicious! My husband loved it and in-between the first 2 bites he said, "Make this again" and I definitely will! I paired this with a WW recipe for Barley Asparagus Risotto…
http://www.weightwatchers.com/food/rcp/index.aspx?recipeid=75471
Made this tonight – excellent and easy. Thanks for all of your great recipes!
THIS IS THE BEST! I DOUBLED THE INGREDIENTS EXCEPT FOR THE PORK AND ADDED CHOPPED MUSHROOMS YUM!
Made these last night and they were fantastic! I'm so looking forward to the leftovers for lunch today. I have been making recipes from your site for about 2 weeks and haven't been disappointed yet. Thanks so much!
Made it my mission to try 2 new healthy recipes this week..I choose this one for dinner tonite..so so so good!! In the past I made a pork chop with mushroom sauce..this recipe will be replacing that!
These were scrumptious!!!
Thanks Krista!!
After having this for dinner tonight (along with oven roasted cauliflower), my husband said "Thanks Gina!". I have been cooking your recipes exclusively the last 2 months, and have yet to find one we have not been thrilled with. Thank you so much for all the work that you do!
Trying to make this tonight and noticed I only have Veggie Fat Free Broth! Do you think it would make a big difference? I'm trying it regardless can't wait! 🙂 ((HUGS))
Gina, these were delicious!! Moist and yummy! I just love your site!
Thought your chicken divan recipe was my favorite, but this one is my new favorite!!! I absolutely love the flavors in all your dishes!! Thank you !
I made these last night. They turned out so delicious! I'm not a huge fan of pork chops because they always seem dry to me. But these came out very moist and had great flavor. I will be making this recipe again! Thanks Gina!
Wow, that's pretty good!
My picky 7 yr old doesn't like pork, onions or mustard. He loved these pork chops! Impressive. I really enjoyed the flavor. I would make this for company. I've made 4 of your recipes so far and love that they are perfect as is, no tweaking. You really take away the guessing.
LOL!
Gave this recipe to my momma to try on my really picky dad before I tried it at home, he's addicted and having it tonight for the second time in one week! Can't wait to make it this weekend 🙂
Never through your herbs away, you can always make stock with some bones, herbs, vegetables!!
Hi Gina
thanks for the tip on freezing the fresh herbs in small portions, this will help me from throwing any away. I use parsley like crazy now with your recipes. Crazy for parsley now! Thanks again, ww caterer val
This was delicious! I did add crimini mushrooms & used vegetable broth instead of chk., also added a splash of red wine & let reduce a bit…excellent flavor! Can't wait to make it again.
Yummy! I used shallots instead of onions and it was so tasty. I discovered how much I love shallots after I made your chicken thighs with shallot vinegar sauce. Also, I didn't have any fresh herbs so used dry and it was still flavorful!
This dish is so good and so easy. I've made this a few times. My family loves it. Thanks
This was wonderful! Thanks for the recipe. I posted a review on my blog.
I'm a big fan of your blog and love your recipes. Thanks!
I, like your husband, am not a big fan of pork chops, so when my hubby requested them for dinner my first thought was, "I bet Gina has a good recipe for these!" Boy, was I right. I absolutely LOVED these! I said it was kind of fancy, and my husband even said it was like "grown up food"… No hint of Mrs. Dash OR applesauce anywhere to be found. LOL I don't usually cook with Terragon, but ooh, what a great flavor! Thank you!
I made these Tuesday night for my daughter's family and it was a big hit! Everyone loved it, even the grand kids! Didn't plan very well though, as our plates weren't very colorful. We had brown rice, your roasted cauliflower (yum) and the pork chops. At least the salad added some green 🙂
HI Made this recipe Tues night for dinner and BF really said he liked it, the flavor were awesome and so easy to make!
Had leftovers last night and BF said he really do enjoy it and it really was a restaurant quality dinner, which made me so happy:)
Thanks for all your hard work putting this site together. Off to look for a recipe for tonight.
Bev
I think it's such a great idea having catering with WW points! What a great service you are offering people! So happy you are enjoying the recipes you've tried so far, here's a tip with fresh herbs, wash them, roll them in plastic wrap in small portions and freeze them. When you need the herb, remove a portion from the freezer, it thaws quick, and use it as you normally would.
Hi Gina,
Does that tip work well with cilantro? I love cilantro so much, but I am the only one in my family who loves it, so I am always wasting cilantro. I will freeze it this way if it thaws well! Thanks for such a great website!
Hi Gina
I run a small catering business & found your website 2 weeks ago, your recipes are awesome!!
I cook dinners for a family that wants ww meals so the Mom can loose weight but the ww cookbook recipes can be short on flavor, I also need ww meals now that the holidays are over & needed meals that my husband would eat also, you have solved that problem, my husband has loved every recipe I have gotten from you! The comments help also as I cook 3 dinners a week for my customer so they need to taste good reheated so I always look for those comments. This Pork Chop recipe is yummy, using fresh herbs is key, I try and use the same herbs in a few dishes per week so I don't throw too much away, not being summer I have to buy them. I made the oven fried Sweet potatoes with the pork, they were good too, I added some cinnamon instead of paprika, tried cayenne pepper on some butit was a little too spicy so I will stick with the cinn or paprika next time. Also have to tell you the Chicken Francese was amazing will be making that again this week, my picky husband loved it! was confused with flouring before egging the cutlets, (so ingrained the other way)but I followed directions and what a fab dish will definatley serve to my friends. Just had to write you and thank you for sharing your recipes, Keep them coming!Val Bell sag harbor ny
Food and Wines never fails!!
Mmmmm! We had these for supper tonight and they are SO GOOD and SO EASY!!! I used boneless chops and they tasted wonderfully. My husband was a bit paranoid about eating them because my meat thermometer was only reading 120 (its a dial kind, not digital), but the meat was white and fully cooked. Either way, it was super tasty and we will definitely make this again!
I tried this recipe tonight and it was so good!!
So delicious I practically licked my plate. I used only 2 boneless chops, but made the same amount of the sauce – glad I did as I wanted that extra sauce on my chop. I used red onion instead of white. Another winner for sure, Gina.
I love these. They have become a staple for us. My kids love them too!
Hey Gina! Can you re-calculate thi one? Its my fav!
I calculated this with the new PointsPlus recipe builder and got 4 points per serving. Note that I used 4 lean boneless pork chops and fat-free, low-sodium chicken broth.
Love the idea, I think I may try that and post it as a new recipe!
I made this dish tonight and it was wonderful. I am not a porkchop person and neither is my husband, but I thought we would try it. the only variation I made was i added Quartered mini portabella mushrooms and a bit more chicken broth since the mushrooms suck up some of the juice. it was great! thanks for the wonderful recipes
I wish I could take full credit but I'm glad I could share this with you all. It's my favorite pork chop recipe!
These were the best pork chops I have EVER had!!! I agree with the comment before me, I was sad when I was done!! Great job Gina!!
Followed the recipe to the letter and this was the first time I've made pork chops without drying them out! Another excellent recipe.
hey all. i am finally on.so excited. just wanted to know if anybody has used this on lamb
I made this tonight! It was amazing, and so easy! Thank you.
Oh my heavens, this was fantastic!!! I think it's the best thing I've ever cooked in my entire life and I've got a huge collection of wonderful recipes. I can't believe how easy it was and holy cats, it's low in points too? Woo hoo! Thank you so much! I shared this recipe with all of my facebook friends and I'll be braggin' it up on my blog tomorrow!
I think it would be delicious!!
I'm a big mushrooms fan – do you think it would be ok to add mushrooms and sautee them with the onions?
Made this tonight, and it was AWESOME! I LOVED IT! I will be making it again.
Can't believe that this is diet food…OMG !!!! Never has being on ww become so fun. Thanks a million
@Quartas- I love Cathy's blog! Thanks for the comment!! My Dad lived in Brazil for many years!
@Ashley- You're welcome
Tried making this the other night and it was GREAT!! My fiance and I both loved it! We eat porkchops rarely, and when we do, it's a old family recipe. Now we have another option that is delicious and a good switch up! I LOVE this website – thank you!!!
I found you because Cathy Zielske blog. I made this recipe here in Brazil and it turns out wonderful!
I know, the flavors work so well together. This has always been my favorite way to make pork chops.
So yummy! The best pork chops I've ever had!
The pork chops still weren't quite cooked to my family's well done taste, so I added them back into the pan, added a little more stock, and let it simmer. So yummy – love the flavors!
You could use shallots instead of onions, or leave them in large pieces so he can pick them off.
My husband hates onions, do you think it would taste ok without them or are they able to be picked off?? It looks so good and I want to try it
All of you were right. This dish was delicious!!!
Had this for dinner tonight and my husband loved it! He loves the mustard. So easy to make and it does taste like something you would eat at a high end restaurant. Thanks Gina!
wow this was delicious! ill definetly be making this one every other week.
I made this last night with the boneless chops, delicious! I had fresh rosemary, oregano, and thyme from my garden….my husband said it was a keeper! So easy, and I didn't have to buy a lot of strange ingredients like I sometimes find in my Cooking Light magazine. Thanks!
I know, So good! And fresh herbs are so much better in most recipes!! Glad you liked it 🙂
Gina!!! YUUUUUUMMMM! I used thick boneless chops instead so the cooking time took longer but the end result was so good. That sauce is amazing for so few ingredients. I had a leftover one today for lunch with plenty of sauce…OMG so yummy. Thanks for getting me back into using fresh herbs – it makes all the difference.
I made this for supper last night and it was WONDERFUL !! So much flavor and really tasted like I had spent hours on it and it was so quick and easy.Your site is amazing thank you so much!
I agree, but this recipe has a lot of flavor!!
Any useful tips for marinating in advance? I'm a huge believer that by marinating meats, you get the best developed flavors possible.
I made this with chicken breasts instead of pork… worked nicely. I lost over 12 pounds with your help! Thanks Gina!
I've made these many, many times and we love them. Lately I've been serving them with your spinach rice which is also delicious!!
Awesome!
Amazing!!! Thank you for your easy and great recipes! I lost 3.3 lbs my fist week of Weight Watchers and it is in large part to you! Thanks!
Yes, I think this would be great with veal!! Not sure about the points off hand, I would have to check that.
Hi Gina,
LOVE your recipes! This one sounds great but we don't eat pork. Do you think it would work if I replaced it with veal chops (1st cut), and if so, would the points be the same?
Another home run!!!! These are sooo delicious and sooo easy to make! Made them for my friends tonight and they loved them!! Great idea when you are bored with your usual dinners! You always save the day! I am making the lentil soup with chicken tomorrow and I absolutely cannot wait!
Hi Gina,
LOVE your recipes! This one sounds great but we don't eat pork. Do you think it would work if I replaced it with veal chops (1st cut), and if so, would the points be the same?
Update: I made it last night and IT WAS A HIT!!! I just shortened the time and it worked. My friends came over for Lost night and that's what I served them. I was a little bit nervous because porkchops usually are tricky to cook… they are either undercooked or overcooked. This time, it was perfect! It was moisty and the sauce was delicious. My friend, who is pretty "high maintenance" and will tell you straight up if he doesn't like something, had 2 porkchops!!! I shared this website to my coworker and i told her about the porkchops and she's excited to try it too. THANKS AGAIN FOR SHARING! Yeay!!!
Thanks for sharing!! Yes, thin is fine, just cook them shorter as you said. This is an amazing pork chop recipe, you will love it!!! My husband doesn't care too much for pork chops but loves this recipe.
I'm excited to make them tonight. I couldn't find 1" thick porkchops though. I went to 3 different places, they only had thin. I hope it still works out. I'm asuming i'll just shorten the time and it would still be good. BTW, I LOVE this website…so much that i shared it to everybody!!! Thanks for making it exciting for WWers. 😛
Aren't they!!
These were amazing! We're hooked. Thanks!
Yum!! I made this last night for dinner and we loved the sauce. I served it with whole wheat couscous and some steamed veggies. Yum again!! I can't wait to try more of your recipes!!
I made this last night for dinner and…. OMG is all I can say. I did add garlic to is as my husband and I love garlic in everything. Even my husband said this was a keeper and he is so picky. When we were eating I was thinking that you could add a dash of fat free half and half to make it a cream sauce and I bet it would be awesome and another twist to this wonderful recipe!
I made these chops and my wife can't stop talking about them. It's a great recipe and comes together very nicely. Will have to try some of your others.
David
I made these tonight and it was the best pork chops I have ever had. My family was so impressed. Thank you so much for your recipes. I come here everyweek to plan my menu.
I tried this recipe recently and this was by far the best pork chops I have ever had. The only thing I did differently was add a handful of dried cranberries right after the onions. Definitely an A+.
Made this for the family over the weekend…was an instant hit!!! looked, smelled and tasted like a restaurant meal..my husband is still talking about it!
Thanks Gina!
They did and they were amazing!! I have made something from this site nearly everyday for the last 2 weeks and NOTHING has dissapointed me! Such great recipes ! thanks Gina!
No, I don’t think so, it should come out the same I would imagine.
I made them with boneless pork chops and they turned out great. My family loved them!
Hey Gina!
I wanted to make this tonight, I have some boneless pork chops in the refrigerator, does it make any difference?
@POD, lol, I care! I try to put great recipes, the ones that don’t come out great, I don’t post. Glad you liked it, this one is a favorite. I tried it with chicken but not as good.
We made this dish last night and it was wonderful. I almost felt as if I were eating at a good restaurant — you know, like someone cared about what they were serving for dinner?
This recipe was so good I almost cried when it was gone from my plate. I had to blog about these AND take pics so here’s the link:

THANKS for a delicious meal~ I’ll be trying more from your site IMMEDIATELY!!!

Wow – I made these tonight and they were great. I did use garlic flavored olive oil instead of the butter. Yum
Wow. These look REALLY good! And these are ingredients I almost always have on hand. I’m definitely making this. Thanks!
I replaced all the seasonings and herbs with Original Mrs. Dash and used butter made with EVOO to lower the sodium. It was awesome! I had a small issue with the sauce but this sauce is very simple and easy to fix by just adding a little water swirl and add more water and swirl until you get the right consistency.
water, really? Way to ruin a great recipes…smdh
Made this tonight and it was lovely! I must confess that I added a little more butter as they were sticking in my cast iron pan. Definetely a keeper! Thank you!
