Grilled Rosemary Lamb Chops

This is a simple recipe for lamb lovers.

  • 4 lean lamb chops
  • 3 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp fresh rosemary leaves
  • kosher salt and fresh ground pepper

Combine olive oil, lemon juice, garlic and rosemary. Season the lamb with salt and pepper and cover with garlic mixture. Marinate at least 1 hour, overnight if possible. Discard the marinade, then grill over medium high heat to desired liking or broil in the oven.

  3. Everything in moderation. If it's lean and you eat it with a salad and vegetables on the side, it's a light meal.

  4. Anything won't be good food dietry if in excess for that matter. hehe.. I'd love to try this some time.. after all it's been a while since I grilled some lamb for the hubby! :)

  6. I don't like lamb... had a bad experience with it once. I might have to try it. Love rosemary and your pictures of these meals make it tempting to want to try it!

  8. Yes, you want it to brown on each side, maybe 3-4 minutes on high on each side, depending on your broiler if you like it medium rare like I do!

  10. Can I pan cook lamb at all or can I put it in the oven, it so for how long?

  11. you can pan fry them but use a nonstick pan and olive oil spray you may want to add a little of the marinade just to stop the lamb drying out and make sure you cut the excess fat off first. :)
