Dear Gina,
ReplyDeleteI stop by to wish you a Merry Christmas with your family and friend and thanks again for all the nice recipes that you gave us this year!
Oooh, I never thought of banana and apricot together! What a tasty combo!
ReplyDeleteAnd I'm dying to make your split pea with ham soup, but I'm not getting it to come out to 2 pts. using the ingredients you have listed ( I run it through Weight Watcher's Recipe Builder). What am I doing wrong?? Please let me know - I can't wait to try it!!!!
Hi Marisa,
ReplyDeleteLet me recheck the points and make sure I don't have an error. Thanks, I will get back to you on that!
Have a very Merry Christmas Gina along with your family. God bless.
ReplyDeleteJodi
Thanks, Gina - looking forward to it!!!
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas!
Yum. That looks delicious. I just stumbled upon your blog. I'm going to be striving the eat healthier in the new year so I have a feeling I will be checking your blog a lot. Thanks for the great recipes.
ReplyDeleteGina- finally made the soup -it's awesome! Not as pretty looking as yours (check out my blog!)but it tastes great! Thanks so much!
ReplyDeleteMMMmmmm...looks scrumptious!
ReplyDeleteI just wanted to let you know that I've given your blog an award...just visit http://graduallyshrinkingviolet.blogspot.com/ for more information! :)
Thanks for all your wonderful recipes...it'll make my resolution easier to keep this new year! :)
It does look delicious so I made them.
ReplyDeleteThe apricot preserves all leaked out onto my cookie sheet and the floor of the oven. I will try this recipe again, but I will use pie filling instead.
@Carole
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like you didn't seal them well. Sometimes I find putting a little water with my finger along the edge before I seal them well helps them stay together.
Does one equal 4 points? I'm trying to cook to accommodate my mom and I'm not too sure how the points work. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteYes, 4 points each.
ReplyDeleteok, so I am just reading this recipe which looks great. But can you be more specific about the pastry?.. Based on the recipe I am guessing I cut each sheet into 9 pieces so I have a top and bottom? I think your recipes are awesome but with out more details or pictures of the process we may not execute them as well.I know some of my novice cooking friends will definitely be cornfused :-). Anyhow.. that is my guess for now.. I can't wait to try it..
ReplyDeleteYes, I believe I wrote that. Each sheet gets cut into 9 pieces (18 total) which gives you a top and a bottom. Pictures of the process would have been great, maybe I'll take more photos next time I make them.
ReplyDeleteGina,
ReplyDeleteI just wanted to thank you for this site. I discovered your site November 2009. I have made the yummy pumpkin spice pie, turkey meatloaf and skinny chicken parmesan. I will make more of the receipes soon. I view your site daily. I have told many friends/family about this site. I've lost about 60lbs the past 6 months. I'll still have more weight to lose, but having receipes like yours has helped me stay on track. Thanks again. Please keep them coming. Take care.
Keep up the great work and thank you for commenting!!
ReplyDeleteHi Gina,
ReplyDeleteCan you update this receipe to show the PointsPlus? It's one of my favorites! Thanks
I'm coming up with 6 pts on old WW ?!?!?! those puff pastry sheets are loaded with cals and fat. i think i calculated it right. i'll double check my numbers if you double check yours.
ReplyDelete6 is better than 7!
ReplyDeleteDo you have the calorie/fat info for these? I'm counting calories vs doing WW and would like to try these.
ReplyDeleteThanks!
Thanks, I was wanting to ask that myself since I am doing the same thing.
DeleteJust stumbled into this site. Am I correct that gina posts healthy recipes? Ones that are compatible with the ww program? Dont understand how to maneuver around on pinterest. Any tips would be appreciated. Thanks.
