Eggnog French Toast




Here's a quick and healthy low fat breakfast for the holidays and a great way to use your leftover eggnog. Delicious topped with sugar free syrup, agave nectar or honey.



Eggnog French Toast
Gina's Weight Watcher Recipes
Servings: 2 Serving Size: 2 slices • Old Points: 3 pts • Points+: 4 pts
Calories: 166.7 • Fat: 2.5 g • Carb: 28.4 g • Fiber: 5.9 g • Protein: 10.9 g • Sugar: 9.2 g

Ingredients:
  • 1/2 cup skinny eggnog
  • 2 large egg whites
  • 4 slices Weight Watchers whole grain bread
  • butter flavored spray
  • cinnamon
  • nutmeg
  • powdered sugar

Directions:

Whisk egg whites, cinnamon, and eggnog in a shallow bowl. Heat nonstick skillet on medium heat. When warm, mist with cooking spray.

Soak bread into egg mixture, then place on hot skillet. Cook until golden. Top with cinnamon and powdered sugar. Serve with sugar free syrup, agave nectar or honey.

  2. I really liked your blog and I am surely going to bookmark it now. I just want to add a few things in your blog post. acai berry and colon cleanser diet can work together to clean the intestine and also work out to remove harmful fecal substances and harmful bacteria. It is also an effective method to loose weight. I have my own experience and the colon cleanse diet works out perfectly for me.

    I have a question could you just dip the bread in to the egg nog mixture and not add the extra egg white would it be less points this way???

  6. I'm not sure if the eggnog mixture would stick well to the bread without the eggwhites. It would be 1/2 point less per serving without the egg whites.

  7. I am a student and dont ususally buy the weight watchers bread as it is a little more expensive the bread i use is multigrain and for two pieces is 4 pts how would that effect the point system for this recipe as I am dying to try it!

  8. you can also use the lite bread that is not as expensive as the ww bread,instead of the powdered surgar i use the splenda w the cinnamon, very good.

  11. You could use egg whites with a little milk instead. Add vanilla and cinnamon!
