Foodbuzz Festival – Food Tasting Nirvana

This post may contain affiliate links. Read my disclosure policy.

I just returned from Foodbuzz Festival 2010a two day food tasting nirvana, sampling street food, visiting farmer’s markets, learning about sustainable food, wining, dining, sipping, sharing, learning, indulging, photographing, sampling, drinking and having a whole lot of fun.

I was right at home amongst my new foodie friends. People that think it’s perfectly normal to photograph everything you eat because they do it to. People with a passion for cooking, eating and blogging… my kind of peeps.

L to R – Lauren- Biochemista, Allie- All I Eat Food, Sarah- Daily Nibbles, Lauren- Eat Drink and Be Hopeful

I <3 San Francisco

I also fell in love with San Francisco. If I decide to move away from New York, San Francisco would be the perfect new home for me. Friendly faces, urban chic, the bay, art, music, beauty, diversity, history, charm, food… this city has it all.

One day if I do go to heaven, I’ll look around and say, ‘It ain’t bad, but it ain’t San Francisco.’
– Herb Caen

I left Foodbuzz Festival feeling inspired to get back into my kitchen and do what I love. Hopefully I’ll get to share some of that soon. Hope you enjoyed my photo montage!

  1. Hi Gina,

It was nice meeting you this weekend! I’m the one who gave you the pralines at the gift exchange. I know they’re not a part of your skinny lifestyle but they are delicious and I hope you enjoy them. You have a lovely blog, btw.

I also met Allie, this weekend and she is a doll. I can't wait til next year!

Angela, we were fed most of the time so I didn't get to eat out much, but everything is good there, even the street food!

Actually I never rode a trolley, instead I did a lot of walking… and in San Francisco, that's quite a workout with all those hills! It was a good way to burn off the calories we consumed.

Kat- If you love Manhattan, you will love San Francisco.

    Marty- Do I have to??
