These are so simple and so darn cute, my one year old probably had just as much fun playing with them as she did eating them. Super easy to make and no fancy gadgets required, you’ll need small 5 oz disposable cups and some craft sticks.

  1. I just joined WW a couple weeks ago (partially because of your website), and I’ve been scouring your recipes. I just came across these pops, and heard the mention about ice cubes. I think I’m going to try these in your fresh iced tea to add a little extra sweetness!

  6. Might be a silly question. But could I just use frozen fruit, put in a cup and add the juice and freeze???? Or some frozen and some fresh?? That way I could use up the frozen fruit I have already and organics are cheaper that way.

  11. I rarely comment for anything but I have to post one for this recipe. I just hosted a picnic with a good number of guests ranging in ages from 2yrs to 75 yrs. We even had some food allergies added to the mix. This dessert was a HUGE hit and loved by everyone. Thanks a million for all you do. My family greatly appreciates it.

  12. What an inspired idea – it's Winter "Down Under", but I still can't resist trying these! Thanks 🙂

Nicole, no I haven't tried that.

Sazzy – dessert for breakfast, my favorite!

    Angela, isn't it fun!

  16. My 6yo and his friend made these yesterday – we forgot to eat them so they are eating them for breakfast! How cool to give them an "dessert: for breakfast and not worry about it being totally inappropriate!

As an aside – I ended up adding more than a tbsp of juice……….

Have you tried to make these without the stick and keep them like an italian ice or do you think it would melt down too quickly??

  19. That is truly heaven in pops…great idea to make this frozen fruit pops for the weather here is horrible hot and humid. Thanks Gina for sharing this delicious summer treat 🙂

  20. So that's the tomato-poking culprit. She is absolutely adorable.

The pops look really good and I'm glad you posted this. I'm thinking sangria with fruited ice cubes. Just got some star-shaped cupcake "molds" and think this recipe in those molds floating in a pitcher of white sangria ….

    Isn't she a cutie!

Any fruit juice would work, even Sunny D if that is all you have.

Jillian- great idea making them into ice cubes!

  26. Gina – these look delicious. I was thinking you could also make them in ice cube trays with no stick, and drop into a nice summer drink!

    1. Sunny D and regular orange juice are SO FAR from the same, in terms of nutrition. Throw out that crap!

  27. These look so delicious and colorful! I love food with a lot of color, it looks way more appetizing.

I just got over a really bad sinus infection and have been getting sick a lot last week. My appetite still haven't fully come back yet, but these look good enough to make me want to go make them and have them ready when I get off work tonight. Plus, we just bought a bunch of fresh fruit.

    Great idea!

sorry to hear about your sinus infection, I was plagued with them until I started using a netti pot – you can find them in most of the big drug stores. Basically you are washing out your sinuses and getting rid of anything that makes them inflamed – so much better than chemicals – also white vinegar acts as a disinfectant and an anti-inflammatory – if your air is really dry, that can set off your sinuses too – I put a little in my humidifier and my cpap machine – wow – what a difference! I just saw the date on your post, I hope you don't keep having the sinus problems, many people do, but these tips may help, good luck.

  28. Does the baby come with the fruit pop!? Your daughter is gorgeous Gina! And the pops look mouth watering. Definitely a special treat in the summer. And for 1 point?! You can't beat that.

So cute. I love that the fruit is left chunky. We will add these to our summertime list.
