There’s nothing like a hearty soup in middle of winter. A few of my other favorite main dish soups are Stuffed Pepper Soup, Turkey Chili Taco Soup, and Beef, Tomato and Acini Di Pepe Soup.

I spent the weekend with my cousin Katia and she put together this amazing soup. Made with a few simple ingredients she had on hand, it filled the kitchen with the aroma of comfort food.
