  1. We are always on the lookout for egg white recipes and always find such great ones here! Thank you for so many great recipe options!

  2. in the picture, PRETTY SURE, that is NOT egg whites, egg whites are NOT yellow, nor is that turkey bacon, too red.

  3. Is your calorie count for one half pita or both halves?

  4. To get your turkey bacon crispy, place them on a folded paper towel in the microwave for 2-3 minutes. They'll be nice and crispy!

  5. i cant seem to get turkey vacon crisp. its just chewy and not very good. any suggestions?

  6. For one more point+ add a laughing cow cheese wedge 😉

  7. Could you please add calorie information?

  8. Breakfast burritos freeze well (eggs, bacon or sausage, cheese, salsa is the way my dad used to make them). I freeze pitas separately, but not sure how it would work stuffed and stored.

  9. Hi Gina, do you know if this would freeze well?Maybe replacing the pita bread with a tortilla…for a kind of breakfast burrito? I would like to make a healthy breakfast that I can freeze for the week, but I'm not sure how scrambled eggs or egg whites would freeze (or bacon for that matter). Maybe I could replace the bacon for ham?

  10. Make sure you shake it well before cooking and maybe cooking them longer will prevent them from becoming too liquidy.

  11. Gina, any idea how to prevent egg whites from making everything liquidy and dripping when I try to put it in a tortilla/sandwich?? This always happens no matter what brand of egg white cartons I use (Trader Joe's included)!

  12. No, it was turkey bacon strips, not Canadian bacon.

  13. Wait.. I used the Oscar Mayer Canadian Bacon and it's three slices for 60 calories which is about 1-2 pts (I forgot exactly since I haven't cooked it in a while). I'm wondering if that is what you're using and how you got to 1 point per slice.

    PS: your site rocks!! I <3 U!

  14. @Peacu You're welcome!

  15. Gina, this will definetly go to my favorites! Thank you for such good food ideas.

  16. Just checked that. Three crisp slices of regular pork bacon is 4 pts. One slice of Canadian bacon is 1 pt. Good to know, I love Canadian bacon.

    • Great add Gina! Canadian Bacon is on my shopping list! Just started Weight Watchers and you are a blessing with your recipes!!

  17. Regular bacon is only 1 point per piece too.

  18. lol, unfortunately real bacon stays on your hindparts!

  19. If it ain’t crispy pork hindparts with a thick crust of rind on top… then it ain’t real bacon.

  20. Oh my gosh that looks so good Gina. Thanks for sharing this. I hope you have a nice Sunday too.

  21. This looks wonderful. I could do this with veggie bacon I think. What a great site.

  22. Looks great, Gina. The green pepper adds a nice bit of color.

  23. Hi Gina,

This awsome sandwich would be my favorite lunch or breakfast!! Very nice pockets! Although it’s very late here (12.30 AM) I’m hungry watching this photo!

Have a great weekend my friend!
