This Chicken with Bacon and Green Beans dish is made all in one skillet which you can whip up in less than 30 minutes – weeknight dinner win!
This quick and easy chicken dish is cooked in a white wine sauce with green beans and bacon, all in one skillet. You can modify this basic recipe using any veggies you like, but I think it’s a perfect way to cook up green beans!
This is such a simple dish, perfect for clean eating. You can easily modify this for a Paleo or Whole30 diet by leaving the wine out or replacing it with more chicken broth.
Variations:
- Swap the chicken breasts for chicken tenderloins or turkey cutlets
- Exchange the green beans for asparagus
- Swap the bacon for turkey bacon

One Skillet Chicken with Bacon and Green Beans
This quick and easy chicken dish is cooked in a white wine sauce with string beans and bacon, all in one skillet. You can modify this basic recipe using any veggies you like!
Yield: 4 Servings
Serving Size: 3 oz chicken, 1/2 cup green beans
Ingredients
- 4 strips center-cut bacon, chopped
- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut lengthwise into thin cutlets
- kosher salt
- freshly ground black pepper
- 2 tablespoons minced shallot
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- ¾ cup low-sodium chicken broth
- ½ cup crisp white wine, such as Sauvignon Blanc (use broth for Whole30 or Paleo)
- 1 teaspoon chopped fresh thyme
- 8 ounces French green beans
Instructions
- Heat a large non-stick skillet over medium heat. Add the bacon and sauté until brown and crisp. Remove bacon pieces with a slotted spoon, transfer to a paper towel lined plate and set aside. Discard the majority of the bacon grease, leaving a very thin coating in the pan.
- Season both sides of the chicken pieces with 1/4 tsp salt and black pepper and add to the skillet. Cook 4 minutes per side, or until cooked through. Transfer to a plate and tent with foil.
- Add the shallots to the now empty skillet and sauté 1 minute, scraping up brown bits. Add the garlic and sauté 30 seconds more. Add the broth, wine and thyme and stir. Add the green beans, increase the heat to medium-high and cook for about 8 minutes, or until the sauce has reduced and the green beans are crisp tender, stirring occasionally.
- Transfer the chicken breasts and green beans to a serving platter. Season beans with 1/8 teaspoon salt and fresh pepper. Pour chicken juices into sauce with 1/8 teaspoon salt, stir and cook for an additional 30 seconds. Pour sauce over the chicken and green beans and top with chopped bacon.

This recipe is so flavorful with minimal ingredients. The only change I make is I use more green beans.
I literally searched for “Chicken Bacon Green Beans” and this came up. Pretty good! I would reduce less and add a little Dijon Mustard! Good dinner!
Was looking for a recipe that used green beans. This is definitely quick and easy. It was good, but just good. I like many of the other chicken recipes better. May or may not make again.
Made this tonight and everyone loved it! I doubled the recipe since both college-age sons were eating with us. Sadly, no leftovers!
Glad everyone enjoyed it!
I made this tonight for the first time and it was delicious.
No beed to make any changes!
So simple, so quick to make, and so good! Family favorite here!
My favorite! I add mushrooms and double the sauce usually and it is to die for!
This was a little bland for me…i did increase the sauce ingredients per other reviews so not sure if that did it, but I also ended up with a TON of sauce and didn’t even double it so I’m not sure what I did differently than others.
Recipe says French Green Bean which I would take to mean French cut, but picture shows whole ones? Also, I agree with other comments about sauce. We doubled it.
Very delicious!
My family loves this (plus, any “skinny” recipe with bacon is always a winner.
I didn’t have any liquid left once the green beans cookies, but I did take out the green beans once they were done and added about a cup of rice to mix with the dried up sauce and it made an amazing side!
Just made this tonight. Delicious. But it sure took me longer than 30 minutes. Will make again!
This tastes so delicious! I subbed broth for the wine. Served with brown rice. Might double the sauce next time because it’s so good. Even my toddler will eat it so that’s saying a lot. Lol
This is a family staple in our home. Always happy with it!
This was ok…took way longer than 40 minutes…no sauce left after cooking the green beans.
Delicious and very easy to make. I used turkey breast cutlets and then also bought a 2lb bag of green beans lol so I just doubled the amount of bacon. The sauce is great.
Great recipe. I added petite red potatoes by splitting them and browning after the bacon, then finished cooking them with the green beans. It added carbs but also made it a hardier meal.
I made this last night, it was great! A few notes- 1. I used frozen green beans, and they cooked in about the same amount of time, since they really just need to thaw and warm through. They stayed vibrant green and crunchy. 2. I would double the sauce next time, there really wasn’t enough. 3. Per another commenter I added a tablespoon of butter at the end, plus whisked in a TSP of corn starch to make it creamier.
Turned out great! Will have it again!
This was delicious!! Wonderful flavor and easy to make, will definitely make again!!
This was absolutely delish!!!!
Wow! This was so delicious! Definitely one of my favorite Skinnytaste recipes, and I own three of the cookbooks. Everyone in my family loved it. We’re definitely adding this one to the rotation. Thanks!!!
I’m not normally a big green bean fan, but these were I think the best I’ve had. They had such a good flavor from being cooked with the broth and shallots. And bacon makes everything taste better! I’ll definitely be making this again.
Can the green beans be canned ones? My hubby doesn’t care for fresh green beans. If so, is the cooking time reduced?
I did my own take on this for a Crock-Pot meal. I used boneless pork chops seasoned with kosher salt and pepper, frozen green beans, bacon bits, water, wine, garlic, onion, and thyme. I doubled the recipe kind of, and just threw it all in the Crock-Pot to cook. Came out great.
I love this recipe. It’s simple, delicious and low in WW points.
A family favorite! We love MANY recipes on skinnytaste, but this is absolutely one of our go to dinners. Love that’s it healthy, but BIG on flavor!
Very tasty!!
Made this recipe with my plethora of bush beans from my garden. Delicious!
This was good but not great. Lacking in flavor. I even added extra garlic and used Montreal steak seasoning.
This is soooo good!!! Highly recommend. I doubled the recipe so I would have leftovers. The beans are amazing. I also used hornet black label real chopped bacon as a cheat. So good!
That was supposed to say hormel not Hornet lol
Fantastic! I left out the bacon but pretty much followed the rest of it step by step. I kinda wished I’d had some bread to soak up the sauce at the end.
This was FANTASTIC !!def. fast and a keeper, diet or no diet it was great ! I didn,t use wine just the eqiv. in more stock.
Delish!
So easy to make and tasty. I am not a huge bacon fan (ducks out of the way), so I cut it to 2 strips of bacon, or I don’t eat it but my teen does. 🙂
This was excellent especially since I just started on the noom weight program. My husband even loved it
Loved the recipe. Pushed for time and did a little subbing of ingredients and wow, great meal. Used white rice vinegar instead of wine, used Schwan’s frozen grilled chicken breast strips, farmers market green beans, onion, and green pepper. Added some Webers kicken chicken seasoning, and 1/4 cup chicken broth for a finish. Very satisfying and still pretty lean and healthy. Thank you for the inspiration!
So lately I’ve made some questionable recipes. When I saw this I knew it had all of the right ingredients. The only change I made was to use boneless skinless thighs. It is absolutely delicious. Even got the thumbs up from my husband!
I made this for meal prep and it was delicious!!!! I will definitely be making this again. I added a splash of lemon at the end and it gave it a nice brightness and rounded out the flavors. I used chardonnay because that is what I had. Thanks for the awesome recipe.
This is a staple for me. Soo good and family likes it as well which is always a bonus!!
The whole family loves this recipe! I can’t believe it’s low calorie. I have made it twice already.
So delish and EASY! My picky 10 yr old even loved it!
What a great recipe! The only addition I made to the pan sauce was a tablespoon of butter. It makes for a more luxurious mouth feel.
how could this be cooked in the instant pot?
So when I first say this recipe and planned it into my week I was very apprehensive about it. Something about it just sounded like it would be a flop for us. I postpone making it 3 day. I am very happy to say I was so wrong about this dish. My husband, who doesn’t like veggies, loved it too! Major win in out house. because my chicken breast where a little thin I cut them into larger stripes and used more broth instead of the wine. We served it over whole wheat angel hair pasta. Next time I will add a little more broth to it so there is a little more sauce for the pasta. Can’t wait to eat the leftover for lunch today. Thank you so much for all the yummies!
Another great recipe!! It’s very few calories and we are a family of 5 so I doubled the recipe and ate 2 servings.
It was perfection! I used a ton of fresh ground black pepper because I love it and par-boiled the green beans while the chicken was cooking so the green beans would cook soft (better for my kids in getting them to eat!).
The cook time is 20 minutes, but give yourself about 15-20 minutes to prep the food. Getting the Thyme off the stem and chopping it, chopping the shallot. Also I could find thin chicken breasts at my store so I had to cut mine up, which also added to my prep time. However it’s worth every single minute. The flavor is amazing!
Is using frozen green beans, how would you achieve the perfect green bean that doesn’t taste bland?
I don’t eat bacon- can i use turkey bacon instead? What else can I use as a substitute?
Super easy, used Chardonnay instead of Pinot, still really delicious, added a risotto with the left over wine for a side, plus a glass for myself, lol def make again meal
Awesome!
I’ve made this several times and it always turns out great. I usually only use two pieces of bacon and it still has great flavor. Picky three year old loves it too.
Holy cow!! Made this for dinner tonight. Truly great.
Very Good. A bit time consuming but so worth it.
This is amazing. I doubled the ingredients for my big family and everyone throughly enjoyed it!! Mom win, for sure. 🙂
Delicious as usual! My 12 yr old loved it…adding another of your recipes to the “faves” list.
The sauce was delicious! I really enjoyed this recipe.
Where did my comment disappear to???
What does the 2 points + 4mean,? Is there6 points total?
there are references to two separate weight watcher programs.
Freestyle program is 2
Points + program is 4
Just depends on what program you follow.
I am not on WW so don’t pay attn to that stuff
I’m planning on making this tonight. Does it make a difference to use a non-stick skillet or cast iron. It looks like in the video it was a cast iron skillet.
P.S. I LOVE Gina’s recipies. I have her cookbook, planning on getting then new one. A hit with my family!
Fantastic dish!
Low carb eating made easy AND most importantly, delicious! This is now one of our go-to easy weeknight favorites. If you get the chicken right, not overcooked, this meal is scrumptious.
This recipe is amazingly delicious for how simple it is! I make it almost exactly as written, but I season the chicken with adobo seasoning, double the shallots and garlic, and I usually omit the wine as I don’t always have it on hand and just add extra broth. I often serve it with a baked potato or roasted potatoes as well. SO tasty and easy!
This is my absolute favorite recipe from Skinnytaste. It tastes so rich yet is so low in calories. We make it at least twice a month. Thank you, thank you Gina!
I made this recipe last night for my boyfriend and I and it was a huge hit! I used a pino as this is all I had on hand and it still worked out great. This is definitely becoming a regular dinner in our house hold.
This has become a family favorite!
Made this tonight. It was great! My 4 year old finished her plate clean, green beans and all. Thank you!
I made it. It was very good, but time consuming just for chicken breast and green beans.
Made this tonight…..perfect week night meal. One pot and so easy. I didn’t have any bacon so I substituted it for sliced salami. I had to add two tbsp. of olive oil to make up for the grease the bacon would have yielded. Delicious! My husband asked me when I can make it again. Thanks Gina!
I made this tonight since I had fresh green beans from my garden. I only had three slices of bacon, added extra garlic, and had to omit the wine since my boyfriend can’t have it but it was still really good.
This was surprisingly amazing! We were skeptical, but the bacon really rounded out the dish. I would highly recommend. I used 1 1/4 cups of broth as I don’t have wine on hand and it was perfect!!! Thanks for Ana amazing and healthy dinner.
Great!
Wow! Another great recipe. I think I would like to try turkey bacon next time just to decrease the calories and fat. Wonderful! One comment, I wish it was possible to mark my favorite recipes. I have loved so many!
Home run! My family – including 2 teen boys, a 9 year old girl, and a husband who “doesn’t like chicken” loved this dish! I am definitely adding to the rotation!
I’ve doubled this recipe for lunches throughout the week. It’s amazing! I normally don’t like reheated proteins, but I think this chicken is so flavorful the next day. One of my favorite dishes so far! My twist: I add a little bit of cream to the sauce for richness and thickening.
This was delicious,! We will definitely make it again?
Fantastic!! Made this last night and my husband and I both loved it. I have not been disappointed with a recipe yet and I just ordered both cookbooks online! Thanks so much Gina.
Thanks Jen!
This was DELICIOUS!!! I really want to make it again for dinner tomorrow. My grocery store didn’t have green beans (teeny tiny town) so I subbed asparagus which my 6 year old will eat but he won’t eat green beans. Anyway, it was fantastic and I can’t wait to make it again!
I forgot to leave stars! It’s all thebstars for sure! So good!
Made this for dinner tonight….YUM! I rounded out our dinner with baby potatoes roasted in the air fryer and a salad for hubs. In all, I had a large very filling meal for just 10 points (old points). Winner!
Can you use a chicken breast and pound it thin
Sure, if you wish.
Finally made this! It was delicious. Did you use fresh green beans? That’s what I bought because your picture looked like fresh. They took longer to cook so that’s why I am wondering for next time.
Delicious! Thank you for another easy recipe that tastes fantastic!
Really good! I added a pat of butter to the sauce at the end for added silkiness. The sauce is very flavorful and delicious!
Can this recipe be doubled? Do any of the ingredients need to be adjusted or can I just double them?
Yup just double all the ingredients.
Made this tonight for the family for dinner. It was excellent!! Thank you!!
This looks so good – I’ve got everything to make it tonight but I’m curious…if I double the amount of green beans, will it mess with the sauce? THANKS!
That is what we did tonight and the green beans tasted great and we still had plenty of sauce!
Another wonderful, simple recipe full of flavor and perfect for any night. Thank you, as always, for being so open and sharing with your talent and gift of culinary skill.
You’re welcome Becky! Glad you enjoyed it.
Love how it comes together. Lovely flavors. Next time, I’ll cook the beans more and the chicken less. Delicious.
I just made this for dinner tonight and it was awesome. I used canned green beans because that is what I had on hand. I also thickened the sauce with approximately 2 tsp of cornstarch. This recipe is a keeper. I will be preparing this recipe frequently.
Thanks for a great recipe!!
Just made this , soooo good!!
I used Asparagus instead of green beans and I doubled it for The week ??
Can I something else to replace white wine?
Chicken broth
Excellent!
I didn’t filter through all of the comments so I may have missed this…when I plug the nutritional information into WW it comes up with 4 freestyle points and not 2. Just curious why there is a difference…is it my user error? Regardless – can’t wait to make this tonight!
The SmartPoints® calculator isn’t meant for recipes and will often give you the wrong points (usually higher) because it’s counting 0 points foods such as eggs, chicken, fruits and vegetables. So if you see a recipe with a SmartPoints® value that’s different from what the calculator tells you, that is why.
The only accurate way to determine any recipe’s SmartPoints® value is to plug the ingredients into the recipe builder on the Weight Watchers website (Click on “My Foods,” select “Recipe,” and click “Create a recipe.”)
Hi Gina –
I’m getting the same results as Annie – plugged all of the ingredients online with the recipe builder and I’m still coming up with 4 points – all from the bacon…
Any thoughts as to what I’m doing wrong?
Thanks,
Ellen
I will double check.
Could maybe be the type of bacon you’re using? I believe center cut bacon is slightly lower in points than some other bacons.
Just made this tonight for my first day of Whole30, absolutely amazing! I literally was drinking the sauce ? thanks for the great recipe Gina!
My husband surprised me by making this recipe all by himself, after I’ve cooked him so many others from your site. Looks like you have a convert! 🙂 This recipe was delicious, and so simple! We are going to add this to the rotation.
So good and very easy!! Loved it!!
Loved it!
Another family winner! Thanks Gina!!
Used mushrooms instead of green beans. Added a bit of corn starch to make more of a gravy than a sauce. Used more broth instead of wine. My fiancé said it was one of the best dinners I’ve made. Love these recipes, as I’m on Weight Watchers and get tired of eating the same things. Thank you, Gina!
Made this dish tonight and was delicious! Whole family loved it. Definitely use fresh thyme when making.
I normally love skinny taste, but this was my least favorite so far. It was fine, but dry and bland mostly. The sauce was super liquidy and lacking in flavor.
This was delicious. The green beans were perfectly cooked and seasoned.
Another YUMMY recipe! I am cleaning out my freezer before heading south and was happy to find a use for some frozen bacon. I also wanted to use up some broth I opened and didn’t want to open a bottle of wine so just used broth. Thank you once again! I don’t know how you do it but grateful you have figured it out!
This was sooo good! I doubled it and honestly, it was even better the next day! i think the sauce had more time to flavor everything. My husband loved it too. I will definitely be making this one again and again. I love all of your recipes….such great variety. I haven’t found one yet that I don’t like.
This was amazing! Definitely going into my supper meal rotation!
Absolutely fab meal. Made for four and have leftovers (there are only two of us) WE have found that all of Gina’s recipes are easily reheated! Thank you for another great recipe. The bacon puts it over the top! As another reviewer mentioned a few mushrooms and some chili flakes give it an extra zing for older palates.
Planning to make tonight but do not have fresh thyme i have fresh rosemary.. Will that work?
Seriously so simple but so good!! Left out the white wine and the sauce was still sooo good! Used chicken tenders cause thats all I had and kind of flattened them a little. Will definitely be a staple in my household
This is a really satisfying quick-prep dinner. It’s well worth trying. A little bacon sure goes a long way!
looooooovvveeeee
a healthy recipe made extra tasty with just a little bit of bacon! i added sauteed mushrooms – delicious!
great!
I made this last weekend and it was really delicious. My husband liked it, too. Thanks so much for your recipes! I’ve liked every single one of the many that I’ve tried.
I honestly use your website and cookbooks for 90% of my meals. I have genuinely learned to cook healthier and enjoyed amazing food in the process. I LOVE this recipe. It is so flavorful, easy and delicious. Thank you for helping me gain my confidence in the kitchen!
Thanks Kristin!
This is simple, quick and delicious. Don’t skimp on the seasoning for chicken. Thrilled that my family is starting to really enjoy green beans when I prepare your recipes. We need a break from broccoli!
Another yummy recipes. Thank you. I added boccoilini with the beans and served over cauliflower rice.
I made this and it is delicious!
What do you mean by “chicken juices”
Any liquid that collects
Can I just say that I”m so grateful for you, Gina! I make your recipes all the time and have both of your cookbooks!!!
Just curious, this meal is 211 calories per serving. Is it meant to be a side dish? That doesn’t seem like enough calories for a lunch or dinner ….
Best recipe I have made off of your site to date! I selected because I’ve been diagnosed with gestational diabetes (fun!) and happened to have all of these ingredients in my pantry except for the chicken stock (I used chicken bouillon).
My husband was absolutely floored with how good this was. The green beans were a little salty due to the bouillon I used, but it actually worked because I underseasoned the chicken.
Going to try your cuban picadillo tonight. We’ll see how it goes! Thanks for being awesome!
Aww thanks Stephanie!
I made this tonite for my family and we all Loved it. This is a new favorite and is going to be a staple! I forgot to get fresh thyme so I used 1 tsp dried and it was delicious! Thank you!❤!!
This was a great and VERY simple dish to make! I was nervous about oversalting since there was bacon but it was perfectly measured as recommended in the recipe. Once again, my picky 4 and 6 year-old kiddos killed it. And it was tasty yet clean enough for my husband’s disciplined eating habits. Thanks!
Great!!
I loved the taste of this meal! But I don’t think I got it quite right. I actually did not end up with a sauce. All of my liquid evaporated while on high heat with the green beans. I guess I left it on the heat for too long? Anyone else have this problem? Still yummy, just a little on the dry side due to my lack of sauce to top with.
made it tonight and had the same result! no sauce by the time the green beans were ready. was still tasty, i will have to try again… maybe this time with more broth and wine? and definitely fresh thyme, I only had ground.
So here I am 3 years later and I made the dish again tonight. I’ve made it every couple of months since my last review and always use a little extra broth and wine. I also steam the green beans before hand because they take so long to cook in the sauce. I just add them in when my sauce is ready to warm them back up. Really cuts down on time as steaming only takes a few minutes. I also now lightly dredge the chicken in flour and that also helps thicken the sauce a bit! Maybe i’ll post another review in 3 years! Definitely a very special recipe as its the first Skinnytaste recipe I ever made 🙂
Aww, thanks Jen!!!
Just wondering how you got 3 SP for one serving? When I build this recipe on the weightsatchers app, it calculates it as 5SP per serving.
I am making this tonight however purchased Chardonnay in error. Will this change the taste?
I made this tonight and it was DELICIOUS !!!!! My whole family loved it. We will try it next time with asparagus. Thanks for another amazing recipe.
The only white wine I drink, and therefore have on hand, is moscato. Would that work?
Sure
Making right now and can’t wait until it’s done. Only a few recipes my boyfriend hasn’t liked but he has never been keen on healthy foods….until now. My whole rest of April and thru May meals are all of your recipes. Thank you so very much for all you do to get us these tasty recipes!!
I LOVE this recipe. One point of clarification, though. When you say to season both sides of the chicken with 1/4 tsp salt, do you mean 1/4 tsp total (for all sides of all the chicken combined) or 1/4 tsp per side?
I made this tonight and it was delicious, I love the flavor of the wine and chicken broth on the green beans. The bacon bits add a great flavor and the presentation is very pretty!
I am having a Skinnytaste week, this tonight, Shepherds pie tomorrow and the Baked Ziti on Wed. Thank you for this wonderful website!
Thank you Janet, and you’re welcome! 🙂
Just made this recipe but used turkey cutlets and added fresh mushrooms with onions!! Also used green beans because I didn’t have string ones on hand!! Superb!!
Green beans and string beans are the same.
Green beans are technically not Paleo; but the recipe sounds delish!!
Yummy. Didn’t have any wine opened so I used a nice light beer. It worked quite nicely
This was so simple yet so delicious! The perfect last minute meal! I will definitely be making this dish again. I served it with roasted potatoes.
Is there a way to make this in a slow cooker?
I had plenty of chicken on hand and gave this recipe a try earlier in the week. Big hit with the family. (bacon ;-)) I think this recipe deserves a KF tag! The shallots, wine and thyme were delicious together. I did use organic salt free chicken broth too. My 10 year old son couldn’t get enough. Great dish, thank you.
Love to hear it! 🙂
Any suggestions on using steam ready frozen green beans? Not sure if I should add them frozen and cook a little longer or if I should steam them (at least half way) before adding to the pan. My concern is the texture (steamed may yield a soggier result instead of a crisper product). I am going to make this tonight with Applegate uncured turkey bacon and sautee some fresh mushrooms to add!
Just made this bit with asparagus!! It’s fantastic! Such an easy and delicious meal!!
Can you make this ahead and freeze?
Didn’t have wine, so I used extra chicken broth. Otherwise I followed the recipe exactly. It was SO GOOD! My husband literally licked his plate clean and asked when we could have it again lol. Thank you!
Lol, love it when that happens!
Wow! This was amazing. I didn’t even think I liked green beans (or Sauvignon Blanc) very much and this completely changed my mind. It’s rare to find a low-carb recipe that is filling, flavorful, and doesn’t require 30 minutes of chopping vegetables and tons of clean-up, but this was so easy/quick and tasted very rich. I served it with spaghetti squash for me and pasta for the man, who went back for many more helpings. This is going into the regular rotation for sure!
This was delicious. It was so delicious my husband took a picture and sent to coworkers. Thank you for making healthy recipes that I can follow. Can’t wait to try more.
That’s great Stacy, thank you!
Very tasty! My husband is very picky and doesn’t like onions or garlic or chicken so I was a little worried about making it. What a relief to hear him announce that he really liked it. It’s an easy dish to make. Preparation took a little longer than I thought- mainly just the time involved cooking the vegetables and meat and mincing and cutting everything up. As far as taste it was very very good!
Loved this recipe!! All of your recipes are fantastic!
Super easy and delicious. Substituted broccoli for the green beans because that’s what I had on hand. My only issue was with the wine…once I opend the bottle I figured it was my job to finish it…fyi 1 bottle of white wine = 22 sp lol
This was absolutely DELICIOUS!!!! Thanks for the awesome recipes!
Thank you for such a yummy recipe! I made this for dinner tonight and it was wonderful! The only changes I made were using red onion instead of shallots, and Italian seasoning instead of of thyme (it’s what we had). I also added fresh mushrooms and crushed red pepper for a little kick. Excellent! We will definitely add this to the rotation!
My daughter’s fiancé gave her your cookbook for Christmas. I ooowed and ahhed over it so much on Christmas morning that they gave it to me and he ordered another one for her. I read it twice over on the drive home from NY to NC. I am making a list of all the yummy recipes that I want to make. Your book is such a work of art. I will enjoy following you. Thanks Linda.
Aww thank you Linda, I hope you enjoy them!
This was an amazing, quick, one pot meal. It tasted like I spent all day in the kitchen. My children gobbled it up. This will be a regular meal in our home. Thank you for posting!
🙂
Made this tonight for dinner! It was delicious! Followed the recipe as is and loved it! Thank you!
Delicious! This was a last minute family dinner for my daughter’s birthday! Perfect in every way!
Great! Happy belated birthday!
This meal was delicious. I use Skinnytaste to plan my weekly meals. My husband used to make the same 4 meals through the week when he was dieting. I showed him that dieting or healthy lifestyle doesnt have to be bland or the same thing all the time.
This meat was juicy and had tons of flavor. the greenbeans were a hit. I tell all my friends about Skinnytaste!
Thank you!!!
Made this for dinner last night — absolutely delicious. Thanks!!
Just made this and it was fantastic! We didn’t have wine, so we used hard cider (Woodchuck”s Amber) /’d it gave it a really pleasant sweet after taste that my whole family loved.
Great!
I made this tonight for dinner and it was awesome!! I didn’t change a thing which I almost always do. A sure fire winner and addition to the usual rotation. Love anything one pan too.
This is great with mushrooms and asparagus as well!
This was as delicious as it looked – and when I read the recipe I knew it would be a keeper. It is. I made one small change – a teaspoon of butter into the pan with the shallots and garlic, and a scant sprinkle of Wondra flour to thicken the sauce slightly at the end. Gave it to my kids for dinner, they loved it too.
Always a bonus when it is “kid approved”!
Great reviews from my 7 year old!!! Thank you for your great site and yummy recipes!
I am a huge fan of Skinny Taste recipes- and this one did not disappoint! It was delicious!
The sauce was light and the crisp of the bacon it just all worked together!
Love the one skillet cooking too!
HAD A PROBLEM FINDING SHALLOTS, ANY SUGGESTION ON WHAT I CAN SUB IT WITH?
