I’m beyond thrilled to give you a sneak peak of my fourth cookbook, The Skinnytaste Air Fryer Cookbook: The 75 Best Healthy Recipes for Your Air Fryer.
I’m obsessed with my air fryer (to such an extent that I am even coming out with my own in May!), so I’m excited to have a new cookbook dedicated to this game-changing appliance! In this cookbook you’ll find 75 recipes that work in every type of air fryer, including basket models and countertop ovens with air fryer settings. (And if you don’t plan on purchasing an air fryer, no worries, I will have oven temps and times listed in the back of the book.)
If you’re not familiar with an air fryer, it uses high-powered, super hot, circulating air like a convection oven, which crisp up your favorite “fried” foods with barely any oil needed. Cook times are shorter than traditional oven methods and the process requires little clean-up–meaning less time spent cooking and cleaning.
A few examples of what you’ll find: crave-worthy recipes for traditionally fried foods, such as Chicken-Vegetable Spring Rolls, Buffalo Wings, as well as perfectly roasted meats and vegetables like Korean Pork Lettuce Wraps, Roasted Fish with Lemon-Almond Crumbs, Sugar and Spice Acorn Squash, and Charred Sesame Green Beans, and there’s even some baked goods like Homemade Bagels and Cinnamon Rolls with Cream Cheese Icing. If you have a sweet tooth, The Skinnytaste Air Fryer Cookbook even offers a few low-cal desserts, including Churros, Very Berry Mini Pie, and Baked Apples with Streusel Topping.
Each recipe includes nutritional information—from registered dietitian Heather K Jones—that will help you take steps toward your weight and health goals. Many dishes are gluten-free, and dairy-free, and these are called out with helpful icons.
If you’re on Weight Watchers, all recipes in the cookbook will be listed here with updated Freestyle Smart Points.

I just received this cookbook and I LOVE it. Since I’m on a cooking at home kick (saving money and eating healthy), I was really excited to add this cookbook to my collection. I use the air fryer a lot during the summer since it doesn’t heat up the kitchen and is perfect for cooking for 2-3 people. My older kids are in college. I am excited to try all of the recipes. I did the Taco Empanadas last night and they were a really nice option to use some of the taco meat I had in the freezer. I’m going to try and cook as many of these recipes as possible….because why not?!
Awesome Joy!! Tell me which ones end of being your favorites!
I tried making the churros today and they didn’t turn out right at all. They were way undercooked at the suggested time. I didn’t bother trying to cook them through because they also tasted awful. I went back over the recipe a few times to see if I had done anything wrong but I followed it correctly.
I’m making the churros right now and they aren’t coming out right. I think the time or temp isn’t right. I have a toaster style and it says to cook at 275 for about 26 minutes. I did and they are still white. I put them on for another 10 minutes and they are still pale. They aren’t turning golden at all. I followed the recipe exactly. Any advice?
Not sure, they turned out fine for me but sounds like your air fryer cooks different.
It was so nice meeting you at Mohegan Sun in CT. By the way, I won the Cuisenart tray! I have your Air Fryer cookbook on preorder – Can’t wait!!
Just preordered the book. Love your books and recipes.Â
Thank you!
Hi Gina! Love all your recipes! I’m interested in getting an air fryer and was wondering if you recommend a certain kind? Thanks!
You need to one specifically for pressure cookers next. 🙂
CAN. NOT. WAIT. Have all of your cookbooks and very excited to get this one!!
I haven’t found a recipe of yours I didn’t love — makes following Weight Watchers Free Style program so easy. What air fryer do you use?
I have been using the Skinnytaste by Vremi air fryer to test them, it comes out in early May!
I made the chicken and spinach with cheese rollatini Parmesan, fabulous
So glad to see an air fryer cookbook. I have a Cuisinart over/convection/air fryer. It is a bigger basket than any other air fryers – will the recipes work in this configuration?
thanks!
yes, I gave directions for both types.
Will your Air Fryer be ceramic coated or just regular non-stick?
regular nonstick, you can’t use ceramic for an air fryer.
How much will it cost??
The Skinnytaste Air Fryer Cookbook is currently under $15 for pre-order at Amazon, and also sold at Barnes & Noble, Target, and Indie Bound.
Omgee!!! Your blog and cookbooks are my go to’s for my weekly meal prepping. I have not made one thing that wasn’t spectacular! Love the airfryer and cannot wait to see what delicious recipes are in your new book! Will you be releasing a few teaser recipes with pre-orders?!?
Gina, I cannot thank you enough for sharing your amazingly delicious recipes with us! No restaurant comes close or even compares to my cooking thanks to you!
Thank you!! Yes, I believe so so save your PO #!
Hi,
I love my air fryer and have used your recipes for both my air fryer and IP. Does this cookbook have any gluten free recipes and/or instructions on how to convert a gluten recipe to non gluten? I appreciate that you offer that option for many of your online recipes.
yes many GF and they are all labeled.
FABULOUS
Gina: I’m so happy for you about your book and can’t wait to order it! Need to ask your opinion about something – I know it will probably sound a little “duh” to some people, but could you please explain to me the amount of watts in different air fryers. Of course I get it with the different temperatures with the recipes (like an oven), and I know some buttons on the air fryers are pre-set, but when you cook something for 2 minutes, for example, on one fryer, is it the same on ALL other fryers? A dear friend just gave me a 1500 watt air fryer as a gift, but if I see a recipe for an air fryer that is an 1800 watts, can I still use that recipe in mine? If not, how would you adjust it – or is that even possible? Thank you Gina so much! Debra
They will cook slightly different so you have to get to know your air fryer and adjust if it cooks fast or slow.
What brand do you recommend?
