This easy recipe features jumbo pasta shells stuffed with ricotta, mozzarella, and spinach in a ground turkey meat sauce. Healthy, high protein, and family-friendly!
Saute the onions and garlic, then add in the ground meat until browned. Stir in tomatoes, salt, pepper, and basil, and simmer for 15 minutes.
Cook the jumbo pasta shells according to package directions. Meanwhile, mix together ricotta, egg, spinach, mozzarella, and parmesan.
Fill each shell with cheese mixture, and place on baking dish, covering the bottom with a little sauce.
Preheat oven to 375F. Top shells with half of the sauce, cover with foil and bake.
Serve with additional sauce on top and garnish with fresh basil, if desired.
