The Best Lasagna Recipe

This easy, classic lasagna recipe is made with a ground beef meat sauce, no- cook noodles, and cottage cheese for extra protein!

Simple Ingredients

Cook ground beef, onion, garlic, and crushed tomatoes in large skillet, and simmer for 20 minutes.

Make the Sauce

Beat the eggs in a large bowl and add cottage cheese, mozzarella, Pecorino Romano, and parsley.

Make the Cheese Mix

Spread meat sauce in bottom of casserole dish. Then add four lasagna noodles.

Assemble the Dish

Then spread a third of the cheese mixture on top, and a cup of sauce, and repeat.

Add the Layers

Next, pour the remaining sauce on top and sprinkle with the rest of the mozzarella.

Finish Assembling

Cover the baking dish tight with aluminum foil to create steam to cook the noodles, and bake.


Garnish the lasagna with parsley and let sit for five minutes before cutting into eight pieces.
