If you love a dirty martini, you’ll love this creamy, dirty martini dip made with olives, gorgonzola cheese, and a touch of gin or vodka. It’s perfect for entertaining!
¼cupGorgonzola cheese(or blue cheese, plus optional more for topping)
Instructions
Add olive oil to a small saute over medium heat; add onions & salt. Saute until browned but still with a bite. Add alcohol of your choice and cook out until almost dry. Set aside to cool.
In a medium bowl combine Greek yogurt, mayonnaise, olives, olive brine, black pepper & sauteed onions, add gorgonzola.
Spoon dip into a dish; top with lemon zest and olives.
Serve with crudites and your favorite cracker or chip!
Notes
Green olives stuffed with a pimento are ideal but other green olives like castelvetrano or manzanilla work just fine. Serve with your favorite pretzels, chips or crunchy crudites like endive, cucumber or radish.Yield: 3 cups
