Freezing fresh fruit with a splash of juice makes for a fresh and healthy snack. Use whatever fruit you’re heart desires. A perfect summer treat!
These are so simple and so darn cute, my one year old probably had just as much fun playing with them as she did eating them. Super easy to make and no fancy gadgets required, you’ll need small 5 oz disposable cups and some craft sticks.
Frozen Fruit Pops
Freezing fresh fruit with a splash of juice makes for a fresh and healthy snack. Use whatever fruit you're heart desires. A perfect summer treat!
Yield: 4 servings
Serving Size: 1 pop
Ingredients
- 1/3 cup diced kiwi
- 1/3 cup diced watermelon
- 1/3 cup diced strawberries
- 1/3 cup diced pineapple
- 1/4 cup fresh pineapple juice or orange juice
Instructions
- Combine diced fruit in a bowl and fill each 5 oz cup with fruit.
- Add 1 tbsp of juice and insert craft sticks into each cup.
- They easily stay in place because of all the fruit. Place in the freezer a few hours until firm.
- To remove the pops from the cups, run under warm water a few seconds. Enjoy!

I just joined WW a couple weeks ago (partially because of your website), and I’ve been scouring your recipes. I just came across these pops, and heard the mention about ice cubes. I think I’m going to try these in your fresh iced tea to add a little extra sweetness!

Cute idea! I will make these tonight. That's a good idea for my chickens, too. I'm going to make them some during these hot days!
Might be a silly question. But could I just use frozen fruit, put in a cup and add the juice and freeze???? Or some frozen and some fresh?? That way I could use up the frozen fruit I have already and organics are cheaper that way.

I rarely comment for anything but I have to post one for this recipe. I just hosted a picnic with a good number of guests ranging in ages from 2yrs to 75 yrs. We even had some food allergies added to the mix. This dessert was a HUGE hit and loved by everyone. Thanks a million for all you do. My family greatly appreciates it.
