Strawberries, raspberries and blackberries blended with yogurt and ice. I'm a berry lover, so the fact that they are good for you is a bonus. This smoothie is low in calories, rich in vitamin C and loaded with cancer preventing flavonoids and phytochemicals. Drink up!!

Servings: 2 • Serving Size: 1 cup • Old Points: 1 pt • Points+: 2 pt
Calories: 68.4 • Fat: 0.4 g • Protein: 3.3 g • Carb: 12.9 g • Fiber: 3.1 g
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup blackberries and raspberries
- 5 medium strawberries
- 1 cup crushed ice
- 6 oz WW berries and cream nonfat yogurt

Do you have any suggestions for other yogurts to add? I don't like the WW yogurt because it has sucralose (Splenda).
ReplyDeleteWhy don't you try Greek Yogurt and sweeten it with stevia? The high protein in the yogurt will sustain you much longer!
DeleteYou could use whatever fat free yogurt you prefer. Just check the points!
ReplyDeletewhat about the activa yogurts ?
ReplyDeleteActivia Light is 1 point, so that's a great choice. Regular Activia is 2 points.
ReplyDeleteSo simple, yet so good!!! Thanks for sharing such a refreshing, healthy recipe!
ReplyDeleteI love your blog! These smoothies look so good w/out a lot of points!
ReplyDeleteAnd I recently made your chocolate banana souffles and they were a big hit!
Yum, that sounds great! I can never make a smoothie that tastes GOOD, like want a second GOOD! LOL I'll give this recipe a go!
ReplyDelete@Mandi, the best way to guarantee enjoying a smoothie is to use the fruit you love. You can't go wrong!

haha my mum was like this has to be fattening it tastes too good!
ReplyDeletecan you use frozen berries for this and not use the ice?
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely!
ReplyDeleteAt our WW meeting we were told that blended fruit is no longer 0 pts in the new program. What do you know about this and does your recipes reflect this. The difference has something to do with the fiber component. Anyways I really your website, it's awesome and I can't wait to try more.
ReplyDeleteThis smoothie is awesome...just tried it!
ReplyDeleteThis smoothie is awesome, I added 2 handfuls of Blueberries and a little bit of sugar(not a big fan of super tartness)
ReplyDeleteI am going to make this smoothie this weekend!
ReplyDeleteLove all your recipies:)
I always count the fruit in my recipes, they are not free. Only if eaten alone.
ReplyDeleteIs that a points plus thing? How would the calories or fat increase just by including fruit in a recipe?
DeleteLooks yummy! To really prevent cancer, it would be healthier if you replaced the yogurt with coconut milk. Add a banana for a smoother texture. Look up casein and you'll see that dairy is actually very bad for us.
ReplyDeleteThanks for posting such wonderful recipes. I made something similar to this, but added 2 handfuls of baby spinach. Even my picky DH, he won't eat anything green or veggies lol, drank it and said he'd drink it again!
ReplyDeleteI would love some recipes to be both ww friendly and cancer preventative for those of us at high risk. :O)
ReplyDeleteThank you for all these amazing recipes! Your blog is amazing and you inspire me to stay healthy! I'm so excited to try this smoothie this morning:)
ReplyDeletewhat is WW?
ReplyDeletei just made this for breakfast and absolutely loved it. Who knew something so simple can be so delicious! I just started making your recipes and they are great! I hope I lose weight soon. Quick question though, when you write the calories down payment it per serving or for the whole recipe (in this case the 2 servings for the triple berry smoothie). Thanks for all these wonderful recipes, my husband and I really enjoy them.
ReplyDeleteThis looks great! If i use frozen fruit, would I still use ice cubes?
