Happy Saturday, this is week 13 of sharing my weekly dinner plans, hopefully they will inspire your dinner choices for the week. I was sharing these every Sunday but since many of you shop on Saturdays I decided to change it to Saturdays moving forward.
I’ve also included a sample week of The Skinnytaste Meal Planner, a 52-week meal planner, food tracker and exercise tracker in one. I’ve included the Smart Points next to the recipes since I am currently on Weight Watchers. By the way if you have The Skinnytaste Cookbook, and if you are on Weight Watchers, I have all the Smart Points listed here for your convenience.
If you’re new here you can see the older plans below. Meal planning is a great way to get organized before heading to the supermarket to get ready for the week! My breakfast is usually something quick like eggs with fruit, a smoothie or avocado toast. We’re a family of four, so if a recipe serves more, it’s either packed up for everyone’s lunch or eaten the next day as leftovers. I started following your blog a few weeks ago and tried your meal plans, which I must say are AWESOME! I even started losing some weight by eating fresher and smarter. But when I suddenly stopped getting the plans I was crestfallen until I figured out that I had somehow inadvertently unsubscribed myself. Not sure how that happened but am thrilled I can now catch up on what I've missed!
What can be the alternative to Mushroom? I don't like eating mushroom, and for some reason, not even Potatoes!
So I have a question for you now that my Skinnytaste book has come. First, please don't judge that it's taken me so long, I don't know what I was thinking. I noticed there are no points in the book. I assume there is some sort of trademark or copyright issue where you can't publish WW points since you don't work for, or give money to, WW? I just want to make sure I'm not missing something. Thank you!
I've been planning menus for my family of six for 15+ years now and it seems like something always happens and messes up my good intentions. I don't let it get me down though, we just push things back a day or so, maybe throw something in the freezer and it always seems to work out.
I've found planning a weeks worth of food is the best way to save money.
Sometime things just fall into your lap at the right time. I just started weight watchers (love the change in how they calculate points) 3 weeks ago and literally just ordered you book on Amazon based on the amazing reviews as I have not seen your blog before. Then in my email is a Bloglovin update and I see your post listed there so click on it to see all these Smart Point references and I'm in my glee. Timing is perfect. Can't wait to get your book and definitely going to start following your blog.
I will share the new Instant Pot recipe Monday!
Thank you!
I was looking forward to the new instant pot recipe….are you doing any of these in the IP?
