Sweet, crunchy apples and grapes in a sweet creamy sauce topped with crushed walnuts and brown sugar for a spectacular light fall dessert.
I'm usually pretty sad when summer comes to an end, but for some reason this year I feel different. I can't wait to go apple picking, pumpkin picking and all those wonderful things you can do in the fall! This dessert is the perfect end of summer treat; it's light and crisp, requires no cooking and is absolutely addicting!
You can easily double this recipe for a large party or halve it for less servings.

ReplyDeleteCould I use a container of WW yogurt and some ff cream cheese and lower the points that way? If so would it be only 3?
ReplyDeleteBella, they will love it!
ReplyDeleteSarah, I'm not sure how that would change the points. You'll have to check on recipe builder.
I just discovered your blog and have literally stayed up all night browsing and printing out recipes. you are my favorite person in the world right now. these all look so delicious and healthy. i have been looking for a website like this forever. and now...i will love you forever. ha. keep up the good work!!!!
ReplyDeleteThis is very different - I've never seen anything like this! That being said, it looks delicious! :)
ReplyDeleteAwesome anonymous!
ReplyDeleteErika - it's seriously delicious!
I wonder if you could make this with a Marzetti cream cheese fruit dip rather than the yogurt and sweetener. It probably mimics the taste and it's about 3 points for 2 tablespoons. I am going to definitely make an apple and grape salad today based on seeing this! I have pecans, so will use them instead of walnuts, but I can almost taste the blend of fruits now! Thanks for the idea :)
ReplyDeleteOMG!! I just made this...it was so good- that is my new breakfast! I did not have any walnuts so I used just a bit of peanut butter granola. YUM
ReplyDeleteYum! This looks so good :) I will be trying this tomorrow for breakfast

ReplyDeleteMade this for a potluck and came home with a clean dish! Wonderful!
ReplyDeleteI'm not surprised!! :)
ReplyDeleteDoes anyone know how this holds up in the fridge overnight? I'm thinking of making it tonight for a party tomorrow night but I don't want it to get mushy.
ReplyDeleteI think it would hold up ok. Put the topping on tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteThis looks awesome! If I sub in some light sour cream for the yogurt I think I have all the ingredients, assuming candied walnuts will also work as a sub for the topping. Grapes are so cheap right now.
ReplyDeleteYou hear this all the time, but I love your site. I'm not on a diet per se, but it feels good to eat healthy delicious food, at least most of the time!
I'm sure it will be great Anna!
ReplyDeleteMe and my husband really enjoyed this. Thank you!

ReplyDeleteI made this earlier this week. I really enjoyed it and limited myself to 1/2 cup for a side for my lunches limiting the points that way. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteMade this and it didn't last very long. It's sooo good. My husband loved it.
ReplyDeleteGina, do you know what the carbs would be if I left off the topping? My DH has to watch carbs, but he'd love this dessert-thanks!

ReplyDeleteMade this for a pre-wedding snack over the weekend for my cousins wedding, it was a hit!! I made it again today for my husband and he loved it too! Thanks for another great recipe!
ReplyDeleteMade this a week or so ago and my son and husband went nuts for it...according to my hubby...this shit is goood!!!!! make it again lol.
ReplyDeleteWould it be okay to freeze this in individual bowls? It is just my husband and I living in our apartment, and I believe I'd be the only one eating it, so I want to put it in individual bowls, and throw it in the freezer, then I can grab it for my lunch at work, then by lunch, it would be thawed out, however, I'd hate to do this, and the apples or grapes get "mushy" or gross. Thanks
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't freeze them, just make half.
Deletejust made this and it was soooooo good! its not fall, but i would eat this anytime! great!
ReplyDeleteI made these last week and they were so delish. It was hard not to eat the whole thing. My kids weren't crazy about it but my husband and I loved it and it satisfied my sweet tooth.
ReplyDeleteJust made this and it was wonderful! I am sure the kids will even like it.
ReplyDeleteBrilliant way to sneak yogurt past a person who refuses to eat it!
ReplyDeleteI used to make this with Miracle Whip & Cool Whip. Thanks for a much healthier version!
ReplyDeleteI made this for dessert last night, topped with pecans, and substituting maple syrup for the brown sugar/agave. It was totally delicious and I was amazed that my son ate a good sized helping. He is generally very fussy!
ReplyDeleteI made this tonight and it was delicious! I didn't have any grapes, so I used all apples and added some cinnamon to the walnut/brown sugar mixture. Yum!
