These crispy Honey-Mustard Air Fryer Pork Chops are marinated in honey mustard, breaded with panko, and air fried until golden.

Honey-Mustard Air Fryer Pork Chops
Made with just four ingredients, not counting salt and olive oil spray, these easy Honey-Mustard Pork Chops come out juicy on the inside and so flavorful! The longer they marinade, the tastier they are. I marinated mine overnight, which was perfect. You can also bake them in the oven if you don’t have an air fryer. If you love honey mustard, make some extra for dipping, but if you’re not a honey- mustard fan, try my juicy air fryer pork chops or garlic-lime pork chops. Not a fan of pork? See all my air fryer recipes here for dinner ideas!

Honey-Mustard Pork Chop Ingredients
- Pork: Trim the fat off of four boneless pork chops.
- Salt: Season both sides of the pork with half a teaspoon of kosher salt.
- Honey-Mustard Marinade: Combine Dijon and honey and marinate the pork chops for at least four hours or up to overnight.
- Panko: Use seasoned or gluten-free panko for a crispy coating.
How long does it take to cook pork chops in the air fryer?
- Remove the meat from the marinade and press them into the panko.
- Lightly spray the air fryer basket with oil, add the chops, and spritz the tops with oil.
- Air fry the pork at 400°F for 10 to 12 minutes, turning halfway and spritzing the other sides with oil.
How to Bake Pork Chops
If you bake your pork chops, the breading won’t be as crispy, but if you don’t have an air fryer, no worries. Bake the pork at 425°F for 20 to 25 minutes.
What to Serve with Pork Chops
These healthy honey-mustard pork chops work great with so many side dishes. Here are some ideas:
- Garlic Butter Mushrooms
- Sauteed Collard Greens with Bacon
- Hearts of Palm Salad with Avocado
- Lemon-Parsley Potato Foil Packets
- Avocado Quinoa Salad
How to Freeze Pork Chops
Cooked pork chops will stay good in the refrigerator for up to four days, or you can freeze them for three months. Reheat them in the air fryer so the breading doesn’t get soggy.
Variations
- Meat: If you don’t eat pork, try this recipe with chicken tenders.
- Breading: Breadcrumbs will work in a pinch if you don’t have panko, but panko will deliver the crispiest results.

What to do?? My boneless chops are way more than an inch thick! Should I slice them horizontally? Or cook for longer? If so, how much longer? TIA!
I made this recipe (almost) exactly as written. (I used some nice sweet german mustard instead of dijon) It is delicious and simple! I always use a meat thermometer to determine when it’s done. My airfryer runs a bit hot, so my chops were done (135-140 degrees) were done in 10 minutes. Thank you for this simple, delicious way to make a quick, healthy dinner!
Very tasty, I was worried that the mustard would be overpowering. But it was mild. I make it coating a pork loin. Baked it with your 425 instructions. We don’t own an air fryer yet. Thanks Gina for another yummy recipe.!
Delicious! I left the panko off and added 1 clove of minced garlic to the marinade. So good!
This was so good!!! My 3 year old loved it. I also didn’t marinate it for long but it was still so flavorful and moist. Will for sure do again.
So delicious! I only marinated for 45 minutes and they tasted so good, can wait to make them again and let them sit for 24 hours! Another easy and simple recipe, thanks Gina!
super delish
We had some honey mustard leftover so didn’t follow this recipe exactly but it was still really delicious. I’ll definitely be making it again.
Had these last night, super good! 9 year old approved with a request to have them again. Feels like a win to me! Made them exactly as written with a few minutes extra cook time due to thickness. We made the oven version, started the marinade in the morning vs night before. Great recipe! Thanks!
Delicious, and so easy! We will be making this again for sure – thank you!
Probably one of our favorite pork chops. All we could say was Wow, in the flavor and the tenderness. No dryed out pork chop here. I added a Penzey pork chop seasoning instead of salt pepper garlic–as it had those things in it, marinated as directed and they were perfect in air fryer for the time stated. Loved this recipe. Thank you
Eat pork chops EVER!!!!
So crispy and juicy!!!!
The panko did not crisp up. I liked the flavourful though, sob will try in the oven next time
So good. Will make again and again.. Thank you
Can I do this with boneless skinless chicken breast? What temp and cooking time? Looks delicious!
She does it with the pickle juice marinated chicken, so I don’t see why not.
So tasty!
Super easy and delicious recipe.
Easy and absolutely delicious, thank you, hubby isn’t a big fan of chops but he loved eating this! My only complaint is my breading fell off 😣 still delicious though and we thank you for sharing.
Easy and so delicious the whole family approved!
Hi
Good
What should I season the panko with,?
I could not find seasoned panko, so I just used regular with no additional seasoning, and the pork chops were still delicious.
Making this for dinner tonight, so I can’t rate it yet. I added granulated garlic and next time I’ll try a pork seasoning blend.
Excellent. Had five boneless chops so I cooked in two batches. Juicy inside and crispy outside. Def make more.
What air fryer do you recommend, I don’t have one yet.
Thanks

Flavorful! Satisfying.
Could you do this with turkey cutlets as well with similar temp and time?
Sure
I did marinate these about 2 days because something came up the day I intended to make them-but they were so over the top good-I’ll definitely make these again-super easy!
This is such an easy recipe. I really can’t recommend it enough. It’s definitely becoming a go to recipe for busy weekdays. Thanks Gina!
I’ve made these twice now and they are delicious! My new favorite way to do pork chops. So much tastier than shake and bake. I’ll never go back.
Delicious!! The whole family approved 👍🏼🙌🏼 easy prep and definitely a regular now on the weekday nights!
The pork chops were delicious and tender. I’ve been cooking for over 60 years and these were the best pork chops I have ever prepared. Thank you!
Love this recipe! So much flavor and quick to make.
The pork chops had a great flavor and were so easy to make. Love the recipe! But I don’t love my air fryer – Which brand do you have?
Glad you enjoyed them!

Hi, not able to click on to the air fryer you recommend. I would prefer not to have non-stick coating where the food goes. Thanks!
This is my favorite air fryer right now- https://amzn.to/3SzJjfV
This recipe was excellent! My husband and I couldn’t believe how great they tasted. So simple and flavorful. Making them again tomorrow.
Super easy and super tasty.
Glad you enjoyed them!
Best pork chops I have had in ages.
Another winner! So quick and easy to put together but soooooo delicious. Perfect with a side of roasted veggies to make a meal.
These were perfect for an easy week night meal. Simple, delicious and few ingredients. Served with ST roasted brussels sprouts and shallots with balsamic glaze.
Yum! This was very easy and very tasty, and pretty much grown up “shake and bake”. I used a bone-in pork chop and 15 minutes was the perfect amount of time.
Really flavourful! I only had plain Panko crumbs so added salt, pepper, garlic powder and onion powder to the mix. Served with green beans and baked sweet potatoes. Great and quick supper to put together.
Yummy! I use pork tenderloin when making a pork chop recipes and just slice it in 3/4 – 1 inch rounds. Served with sauteed brussels sprouts finished off with white balsamic vinegar to compliment the pork. I had no problem with the panko. Be sure you don’t shake any off. Just pull it out of your marinating bag/dish and right into the panko.
Excellent and easy recipe. A hit in our home. Wish I could figure out a way to keep all the coating on the chops … unfortunately, about 25% was left in the air fryer basket. Other than that, no complaints
This happened to me as well. Came here looking for a solution. Still delicious but would be more so with the coating.
Made these last night. I don’t have an air fryer so I baked them in the oven. Turned out great! From the husband to the kids, everyone enjoyed them!
Thank you for another great dinner idea!
i don’t have any panko but do have regular breadcrumbs & seasoned breadcrumbs. will it make a big difference?
I don’t have an sir fryer but I do have a convection oven. Would the chops be baked as long?
I don’t understand the marinade. Do I cover the pork chops with the honey mustard combination?
yes
This sounds amazing. I am added it to my meal plan for this week.
Came out delicious!
Thanks Maureen!
Can I use honey mustard that comes from the store? Instead of making it with the Dijon mustard and honey.
Wondering if I can use crushed plantain chips for a gluten free panko substitute? I have had a hard time finding GF panko near me. Thanks!
Try amazon! Also, that may work!
Can you use bone in pork chops?
yes I mention that above.
I dunno if I’m losing it but I can’t find the variation for bone in? I’ve read it more times than I’d like to admit
for bone in just add a few, maybe 2 more minutes.
Hi Gina, this recipe sounds good. Thanks for all your wonderful recipes. I only have plain panko crumbs. What seasoning can I add to it to make it seasoned panko crumbs?
Just add some dried herbs, garlic and onion powder and Parmesan if you wish.
Thanks Gina!
This very helpful
I added garlic powder, parsley and thyme
