If you like thin crust pizza, you’ll love these super easy Lavash flatbread pizzas! Kids love them and they take only minutes to prepare.
Lavash Flatbread Pizzas
Lavash is a Middle Eastern flatbread, usually found  in the deli section of your supermarket, or you can find it at Trader Joe’s. Last week I posted my quick marinara sauce recipe, which is the perfect sauce for these thin crust pizzas. You can either cut the Lavash into 4 squares before you add the sauce which will give you crispy edges all around, or you can make one large pizza and cut it after.
This is a perfect recipe to make with your kids, they will love making their very own pizza, and they can add whatever toppings they like! It can even be a kid-friendly Passover dish.

Lavash Flatbread Pizzas
Ingredients
- 9 x12" lavash flatbread
- olive oil spray
- 3 tbsp marinara sauce
- 2 oz reduced fat shredded mozzarella
- pinch dried oregano
- 2 tbsp fresh basil
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 450°. If you have a pizza stone, heat it as well.
- Spray lavash lightly with oil then top with sauce. Too much sauce will make the bread soggy so don't over-do it.
- Top with cheese and oregano, then bake until the cheese melts, about 5 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and cut into 4 pieces.
- Top with fresh basil and eat immediately.
Super simple and delicious!  Added roasted red peppers… different toppings make it fun!
I heat my lavash bread n preheated 375* oven first to make it crispy only n for a few minutes then take it out& spread sauce over it & place it back in oven  for a few minutes. Simple as can be.
I love making it as a taco pizza by adding heated up  ground Turkey, add some shredded lettuce & colby/jack cheese. Serve salsa in the side for the extra taco flavor..Â
Made this tonight and used Provolone instead, onions, and red pepper slices and it was excellent! I baked it for 5minutes, then 1 min BROIL and the bottom got crispy and the flavor was sooo good. My boyfriend was sitting next to me with his box of pizza and I didn’t even want to have one slice, I was too busy enjoying mine!!
Perfect!!! 🙂
Can you add the WW personal points link to this recipe please?
I love pizza and could eat it everyday! Even after being diagnosed with diabetes I still had my pizza. I needed to find something healthier/less dough. I was never crazy about thin crust, but I saw this recipe and thought, what the heck…… it was amazing and so simple to make. Definitely will have it again. Thanks for sharing!Â
Glad you enjoyed it!
