These These Buffalo Turkey Cheeseburger with Blue Cheese Broccoli Slaw are modified from my zucchini turkey burger recipe and slathered in hot sauce after. They are mildly spicy and loaded with flavor. I love adding veggies to my burgers, they add bulk and also make them more tender. Here I added carrots, but I promise, you can’t even tell. Perfect way to get those picky kids to eat their veggies.

Buffalo Turkey Burger Variations and Tips

  • To make these burgers gluten-free, sub the breadcrumbs for gluten-free oats.
  • To freeze raw, place them on a baking sheet with wax paper in between, when frozen transfer to ziplock bags.
  • To freeze cooked, you can fully cook them, then freeze in ziplock bags for quick meals; to re-heat you can microwave or thaw first then place on a skillet.

  1. This recipe is so simple and the flavor is amazing!

  2. Please add a link for all your recipes that allow us to convert to the New PP system. I love your recipes sooooo much but having to calculate every recipe with Nurtiritonal info is time consuming.
Other good sites for healthy food are giving a link to convert to your plan if you are a WW member. I purchased your new cookbook and should arrive today. Certainly hope you have an icon to scan to convert all those new recipes! Thank you

  3. These were absolutely DE-LICIOUS!! I’ve made turkey burgers before but I will definitely make these in the future. I omitted the carrots but followed the rest of the recipe (making a substitution for the whole wheat breadcrumbs and just used regular seasoned breadcrumbs and adjusted the points). I still have some broccoli slaw left, I’m a huge fan of blue cheese. Thanks so much…looking forward to dinner again tonight, lol!

  4. I made these in a rush, omitted the garlic and forgot the cheddar and they were still amazing.  I still have broccoli slaw and blue cheese dressing to use up so I’ve decided to make them again tomorrow night.  These.  Are.  Amazing.  Thank you Gina!!

  5. Sooooo good!! I followed the recipe very closely and my whole family loved it!

  6. These sound delicious! My hi husband is not a fan of carrots. Any suggestions for an alternative, or has anyone omitted them with success? We love the zucchini turkey burgers, so I was thinking of using that instead.
