I’m obsessed with this Basil-Parmesan Air Fryer Salmon recipe! It comes out perfectly juicy in the air fryer, or bake it in the oven!

Parmesan-Basil Air Fryer Salmon
Air fryer salmon is my favorite thing to make! So simple combining a little mayonnaise, basil and Parmesan which creates a delicious crust even the kids can’t resist! Of course, if you don’t have an Air fryer you can also make this in the oven or make this Parmesan-Herb Baked Salmon recipe. Is Salmon Good In The Air Fryer?
Salmon is one of my favorite things to make in the air fryer, it comes out so juicy and cooks so quick! Although you may have to cook this in batches depending on the size of your air fryer, in the time it takes to pre-heat a regular oven, both batches will be done. I make this at least once a week and switch it up with different herbs, but what makes this fish extra special is the Parmesan crust, I promise you will love it!
How Long Do I Cook Salmon In The Air Fryer?
How long to cook salmon in the air fryer will depend on the thickness of the fish. I like to cook salmon at 400F and cook it anywhere from 6 minutes to 10 minutes.
Air Fryer Tip:
Spraying the food rather than the basket is usually advised, but for some foods that may stick, spraying the basket is fine. Avoid cooking sprays, instead you can purchase an oil mister and use your favorite oil, or buy a propellant-free olive oil spray with no additives, such as Bertolli 100% Extra Virgin Olive Oil Spray.

This was the best salmon! So tender and flavorful! Hubby loved it! Thank you, Gina!
Added garlic to the sauce with fresh basal
So delicious and easy! I have made this a few times with Salmon but don’t have any tonight. Would Halibut work?
It was absolutely delicious. I will definitely be making this again.
Excellent flavours! Air fryer makes prep quick and easy.
it turned out very lovely
Fixed this last night. My husband said it was the best salmon in the world! Gave it 50 stars☺️. My stand-by recipe for salmon had always been Ina Garten Panko Crusted Salmon. This now takes over. I cooked exactly as written for the oven, don’t have an air fryer.
Almost all of my recipes come from Gina. Never tried one I did not like. Keep up with the great recipes!
Thanks Darleen!
This was absolutely amazing. Highly recommend it and wouldn’t change a thing in the recipe!! Thank you!!
Oh my gosh, this was sooooo good!! We will be serving this for guests now too!
This was delicious. The salmon was flavorful, moist and looked fancy. My hubby said it was his new favorite salmon recipe. Thanks!
This is one of our favorite skinny taste recipes! Both my husband and I love it. I actually crave this dish and make it frequently!
This was very very good. I know a lot of people don’t agree with changing Gina’s recipe in any way but I disagree. For me it’s all about using what you’ve got. Used a 1.5 pound salmon filet, leftover spinach dip made with sour cream and Mayo and only had the Parmesan in the “green can”. Did have fresh basil…will definitely make again. Two 👍 👍 thumbs up!
Never knew there were oil misters 😂 game changer
Wow Gina, this is phenomenal. I am so glad we tried this. We have been incorporating salmon 1x a week and I am trying one of your recipes each time. Thanks for this one, we loved it!!
This has been one of my fav salmon recipes for years now!
I am so glad!
