As 2014 comes to an end, I find myself reflecting on the past 12 months, thinking about the journey, challenges, and lessons learned but also to remind myself to be thankful and count my blessings.

2014 had so many highs for me and Skinnytaste – the top of the list was certainly The Skinnytaste Cookbook making the New York Times Best Seller’s List – holy cow!!! I also challenged myself to get out of my comfort zone and face one of my fears… public speaking! Still working on that but I’ve had lots of practice this year with video, TV and radio.

  1. After making and enjoying many of your recipes over the years and after buying your cookbook, I would encourage you to make a Big One— all or close to all of these recipes on your web site. I bought three copies on your cookbook for myself and children and I always find a dieter I can turn on to a site where they can have every last one of these recipes so beautifully photographed.   3. I just wanted to tell you that I love your recipes. I've lost over 30 lbs on Weight Watchers and it's good to find recipes showing the Weight Watcher points. I made one of your recipes the other day: Slow Cooker Moroccan Chickpea and Turkey Stew. It's wonderful! My husband loved it too and he's usually kind of a picky eater. Will make it again for sure.     LOVED the zoodle recipes this year!! LOVED THEM! I had never thought to make "fake" noodles with zucchini but now there is no going back! I love how clean, simple and family friendly your recipes are. Thanks for all your hard work and great recipes! (and gorgeous photos!!!!)

I've lost over thirty pounds and I tell everyone that I owe a huge part of that to your Zoodle recipe collection. The Asian ones are my absolute favorite. Keep up the great work!!

  9. I just wanted to say thank you for all of your hard work that you put into the blog and the cookbook. It has truly changed my life. I am on a journey of better health that includes the need to remove about 150 lbs. After five months, I'm down 40 lbs., my diabetes medication has been reduced by half, and I truly can't express how much you have helped me on this journey. I have made at least 60 or so of your recipes over the last few months, and EVERY. SINGLE. ONE. has been incredibly delicious. Not a single dud to be found. And as a Weight Watchers member, it's so incredibly helpful that you include the Points Plus values on the recipes! I'm sure keeping up with the blog is an insane amount of work on top of raising a family, so I just wanted to let you know how much that hard work is appreciated!
